Enzo Rosano grew up in a town just outside of Naples, Italy. His fondest memories of his childhood are centered around his mother’s cooking and the spirited meals he shared with his eight siblings. Mama Carmela’s amazing cooking kept her children close to home throughout their childhood and young adulthood. Her culinary influence also played a role in Enzo’s decision to enroll in the Scuola Alberghieria Culinary and Hospitality program in Naples. Upon completion of his culinary training, Enzo landed a job as bartender at Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s Vong’s in London. Next was a stop as bar manager at The Berkeley Knightsbridge, a luxury property also in London. When he came to the Bay Area, his first stop was in Half Moon Bay where he helped open one of the town’s most popular restaurants, Mezza Luna, with family friend, Roberto Giovanni. At Caffe Riace,Enzo joined his brothers and worked alongside them as they made plans to open AquaPazza in San Mateo in 2008

    First time to the restaurant. Lovely main dining room ambiance. Great service from our Italian waiter. Starters: Burrata & Prosciutto was excellent Fritto Misto- very good Entrees: Strozzapreti- so-so. Nothing special Gnocchi- not good. Over cooked, rubbery. Don’t recommend Enzo's Favorite Branzino- excellent Dessert: PANNA COTTA- excellent Pistacchio Cake- excellent. Moist and delicious Cannolo Siciliano- not great. Dry Drinks: ROSSINI- nice, refreshing PAPER PLANE- pretty good POSITANO ESPRESSO MARTINI- tasty Overall, great evening. I am glad we sat inside vs outside. We will be back to try the lunch menu.

    Julianna and service was excellent! Gracie for an authentic experience from cuisine to atmosphere, I felt I was back in Italy Positano. Happy Holidays!

    Very nice waitress very accommodating. I liked the fact that they split our salads in the kitchen. We ordered bread for the table- no great shakes- Very nice meal and pace of dinner.

    Very expensive for the quality. I was there with friends and tried their dishes too and nothing we ordered was super good. Just okay. We were seated in a plastic covered patio and it was raining so it was loud and the ground was quite wet. I can see how this might be a cute place on a sunny day. I also didn’t like that they charge you for employee health care. Sheesh-as if the prices weren’t enough! When I asked about my dish not being very good, my waitress explained that this was the traditional way of making it. I’ve never had a carbonara so thick and gloppy. She offered to bring me something else but I refused. So she said maybe someone else at home might enjoy it. She was very nice and her service was very good. I’m just salty that we paid so much for a meh meal.
