This place is great. One of the more authentic Italian restaurants in the Bay Area. So far I’ve been to Locanda Sorrento as well as Locanda Amalfi in Pleasanton and both were awesome. Staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

So often lately, after a meal out, I find myself disappointed by the quality of the food, ambience, when considering the price. The quality of the food and the alcoholic beverages was excellent. I just got back from three weeks in Italy and France this summer and I felt like I was back in Italy eating off a recommended local menu. I will return.

I m Roberto Castelli from Castelli Fashions Capitola San Jose , i from Rome Italy , and I m very picky about my food ! At the Locanda Sorrento I had the calamari appetizer that was very good , the salad specialty was outstanding , the lobster ravioli were excellent , and the carbonara with tonnarelli (thick spaghetti ) homemade was delicious ! I highly rwccomand Licsnd Direento in Campbell ! Rosa is the owner and Carlo the head host both from Naples very warm welcome !! Five stars ! Roberto Castelli !

The prices seemed rather high, but the quality and quantity of the food made up for the price. The service was rather slow. The noise level was fine, but there were only a few other customers and I have been told that it can be very noisy.

I can't believe I missed this place over the years... seriously. Fantastic at all levels. The food and the staff amazing. Very smooth (which is fast) and attentive.

Just a fantastic experience from my perspective. I’ve been talking to friends about it in a way that they’re familiar with how New York and Chicago and Detroit based Italian restaurants sort of work. Felt very inviting excellent service just all around care on the end product and the experience people have there. Very well-managed place.

The food and the service were amazing. Each appetizer was outstanding, and each person at our table enjoyed their main course. We finished with a tasty dessert.

We have dined here before and continue to return. The food is delicious, the ambiance is great, the wait staff are fabulous. And in busy downtown Campbell they have their own parking lot. Our waiter today sang an operative version of Happy Birthday. He was amazing!!! Whenever I am missing the delicious food from Italy we come here and are never disappointed.
