All of the items we ordered were delicious and the service was fantastic. Great selection of alcoholic beverages as well. Can’t believe we didn’t know about this place sooner. We will be back!

This was our maiden visit to Loch Bar a restaurant we had heard about. The reviews were overwhelmingly positive. Especially with regard to crab dishes. Our server was attentive and concerned that our meal was less than perfect as you will read below. The taste of the creamy crab soup was reported as excellent. The other crab soup was spicy and tasty but a bowl of it had too little crab and a strange assortment of vegetables such as green peas. Neither of the soups came to the table hot. They were sent back to the kitchen to be replaced. We shared the crab cake main dish (2 cakes) that came with French fries. The crab cakes arrived lukewarm and after being returned to the kitchen to be heated they came back no better. One of us found them to be tasty and the other was disappointed. Plenty of crab as it should be for $62.00. We noticed that the prices of all dishes were 10-15% greater on the menu than what Open Table is publishing on its site. A significant concern was the dirty poorly maintained restrooms. If we ever return it will be to give its Happy Hour a try

Our waiter Curran provided exemplary service and attention to detail. The assistant manager Jeff, was equally attentive, so much so that without asking he was able to locate the whiskey a member of our party had ordered when was told by the bartender that it was unavailable. The aperol spritz’s ordered were just ok owing to the use of a smallish wine glass as opposed to a larger goblet. We shared a simple meal of Caesar salad which was perfectly dressed and salmon which was perfectly cooked to order. The noise level was intrusive but being season in Boca very understandable. We will definitely be back…out of season.

We love to eat on the patio on a warm evening. Wednesday is half priced wine by the bottle and that is a draw for us. The 3 of us all start with a cup of the cream of crab soup, which is studded with lump crab meat. We order 1 crab cake dinner, which comes with 2 cakes and 2 sides, and an extra crab cake. This is plenty for us and while expensive, makes it a better easier. John provided excellent service. A fun night!!!

We ate outside and the ambiance was excellent and not noisy at al. Our server Perrin made excellent recommendations which we followed and loved!! Great restaurant with amazing food and service. Will absolutely be back.

We wanted the bar menu and they accomplished us and gave us a regular table near the bar. Food was great. Good value. Loved the crabcake , , mac and cheese. Sauce on mussels so tasty. Will go there again
