Lot Bar and Restaurant is a family run business offering freshly prepared food from 8am until 10pm daily. Whether you are looking for an informal breakfast or light lunch with friends or a 3 course celebration dinner in the evening or simply a drink in the bar after work, we have the best to offer locally.
We at Lot Bar and Restaurant take pride the quality of our ingredients, the high standard of presentation and excellent service. A seasonally changing breakfast and lunch menu offers everything you could want from a kitchen and our evening A la carte menu includes restaurant favourites as well as daily changing specials. On Sunday afternoons we offer the best Roast available. Our wine list, available from 11am, is curated by us to include the faithful, the unusual and the interesting.

    We had a great night. Staff were really great very friendly and professional. Good was also really good. Good selection served timely - looking forward to coming back

    Having moved out of Shenfield a few years ago, it was nice to return to The Lot. It remains the hub of the High Street. A wonderful family run business. A couple of members of the family were present, ensuring the service and quality of the experience was maintained. I would recommend the Fish Pie, my companion’s Chicken Katsu was also excellent. Prices were realistic and great value. Phil B.

    I have consistently received excellent service and enjoyed delicious food at this restaurant throughout the year, so it was the perfect choice for celebrating my birthday. The steaks were absolutely amazing—cooked to perfection—and every single guest had a fantastic time. The atmosphere was delightful, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better celebration. Highly recommended!

    We had a lovely lunch to celebrate my friends birthday. The waitress was lovely, the food was very good and we were left to enjoy our day. Not rushed or pushed to buy more drinks etc. We’ll be back. 🙂

    I have visited about 7 times now and it never disappoints. The food is always excellent. I have had a range of pasta and fish and desert and its all been delicious every time. Compliments to the chef! The staff are very friendly. I went with a group of friends on a Saturday for lunch and it was quite noisy but we still had a fab time. Looking forward to going back.

    Another lovely lunch at the Lot. The scampi was delicious as was the beef burger. Service is always excellent and very friendly. Good value for money given the quality of the food and drink and the lovely setting.
