Our party of three was excited to try Lou Lou after reading the reviews; however, we were sadly disappointed. Service was mediocre, food was the same and the acoustics were terrible. There were not many diners during our lunch time visit but it was still incredibly loud. We left feeling disappointed and are not inclined to return.

Everything was wonderful. Food was excellent, service was very pleasant. Only thing we were surprised at the cost of the porkchops vs. the portion. Very small pork chop for $30+. Overall wonderful. We will be back

Absolutely wonderful meal! We tried the special - shirt rib lasagna!! Best lasagna I have EVER had. My friend had the Hot Brown and said the sauce was very rich and the bread was delicious. We also got a Buffalo chicken pizza to go, and I ate some of that for dinner. Again, it was fantastic. I’ve read the negative reviews on here, and I will say that I’ve never had a bad meal here and I’ve eaten here weekly since they opened. There were a couple of times there was an error in my order, but it was fixed immediately and I consider that no harm, no foul. Running a restaurant is tough, and like every other restaurant in this town, there are times that they have to work around people calling out or there being a miscommunication between the server and the kitchen. Given that they are only in their second month, they seem to be working hard to get the kinks worked out and are serving delicious food. It takes awhile to get everyone into a groove, so a little grace goes a long way. Everyone deserves a second chance.

Very noisy, difficult to have a conversation. Waitress was friendly and kind, just didn’t see her often. Told us to keep silverware after appetizer, no where to place other than directly on table.

My husband and I went for the first time last night in Middletown. The food was ok. It really wasn’t like New Orleans style. Some of the flavors were there, but the jumbalaya was over seasoned and very few shrimp etc. Mostly rice and broth. My salmon was over seasoned and the bourbon glaze was like pancake syrup. I hate sharing a review like this, however I feel like a lot of corners were cut and it just didn’t work for us.
