A mystical and alluring place to enjoy forgotten classics and rediscover the lost charm of conversation, LOUIX LOUIS soars 31 floors above the glittering skyline atop The St. Regis Toronto. Inspired by Toronto’s heritage as one of the largest distillery districts in the world during the turn of the 19th century, the dramatic interior is designed to represent the inside of a glistening crystal whiskey glass, each sip revealing a new layer of discovery. At the heart of the restaurant is the glamorous two-story-high grand bar showcasing over 500 dark spirits – one of the largest collections in North America.

                                                      Booked this special occasion dinner for what was advertised as Festive Dinner and there was absolutely no Christmas decorations at all in the restaurant or at the tables. It looked like any other night there. Food was delicious. Service was a bit slow for what we are used to at Louix Louis

                                                      We came here for Mother’s Day Brunch back in May 2024, everything was spectacular. Today’s Christmas brunch was a bit of a disappointment. Despite the fact we booked the table back in Nov when the booking just opened, they did not accommodate our request for a table by the window. Where we are seated was freezing cold(ironically it was warmer in the washroom). In addition we waited for more than an hour and a half for the main after we placed the order. Server’s explanation was she’s waiting for us to finish the seafood platter when the platter was already more than three quarter done. I never heard we are not allowed to proceed to the main without finishing the seafood platter. We ended up eating deserts before finishing the meal. Overall it was not a great experience today.
