Lovers Seafood and Market is the second concept from Tracy Rathbun and Lynae Fearing, the partnership that produced the local favorite Shinsei.

In an age where independent, neighborhood, specialty shops are virtually extinct, Lovers Seafood and Market is committed to the principles of personally providing our community exceptional quality, fair pricing, and excellent service.     Valet parking essentially mandatory and is very limited, plan accordingly, even at weekday lunch. Very long lapse between soup and salad. Gumbo was tasty and not overly hot/spicy. Consistency of the gumbo was more like gravy/sauce than soupy/broth, choose based on your personal preference. The quantity of seafood was modest. At this price point should have bread or crackers served with a soup, none offered or served. Gem lettuce (Lover's Salad) was very good and the salmon portion was more than adequate, again, no bread or crackers. Service was tip top upon arrival but once order placed and served we were forgotten.

    Our party of three had a wonderful experience. Our server, Mia, couldn't have done a better job. Sunday music by Mitch is the cherry on top. Will return soon to try the Sunday fried chicken.

    Lively spot for fresh seafood, and many unusual options of very fresh fish, perfectly prepared. Server was knowledgeable and attentive, made great recommendations.

    We travel to Dallas frequently and Lovers Seafood is always the place we go to for lunch as soon as we get into town. We love sitting on the patio. Service is always exceptional. We love the food. Always fresh and served quickly.

    One of our favorite restaurants in Dallas. We had a great dinner - very fresh seafood - I had grilled sea bass and it was incredible. Be sure to ask for Mia - she is wonderful and took great care of us.
