Asian small plate classics, Robata grills, sushi and sashimi are exquisitely crafted in the open kitchen and signature raw carve bar. Each dish is designed to be shared socially at the centre of the table and accompany signature drinks, music and conversation.

Lucky Cat is inspired by Tokyo’s 1930s kissas and Shanghai drinking dens. These nocturnal music clubs became the playground of the urban youth seeking all things extravagant, new and cutting edge: illegal jazz music, late night banned dancing, rare whiskeys and indulgent street food.

Beautiful experience, me and my girlfriend tried the "journey menù" and we loved It. The cocktails were amazing too.

Our server was knowledgeable and gave us very good recommendations. The food was excellent. Tamarind cake for desert was very good and a very good small portion to end the night. The noodle bowl was very tasty with a little heat on the back end. The spicy tuna sushi was about as good as sushi can be. The ceviche was fresh and had a very good flavor profile. Lamb dumplings were just ok. The fried chicken was fantastic. Fried rice best dish on the menu. Very good night, only downside was restaurant was very quiet that night so ambiance was not what I expected on a Friday night. Would go back for sure!

My husband and I had a wonderful date night here we had the signature menu. (I think it was called) and it was a very nice pre-picked selection of different things we might not normally think to order. The main dish was one of the most delicious steaks I think I’ve ever eaten. The way it was prepared was unique and it was very tender! The dessert they served was so tasty and the perfect amount to finish off the meal. highly recommend!

Attentive and friendly service. Food was exquisite. We had the journey menu . A good but not excessive amount of food and a bargain for what it was: delicious, carefully and sometimes intricately prepared… loved the miso chocolate lollies!

After our recent visit to Hell’s Kitchen, we decided to try Lucky Cat, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! The atmosphere was lively yet intimate, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening. We started with the Kyoto cucumber, which had a unique and refreshing taste, setting a high bar for the meal. We also tried three flavors of Nigiri, each piece delivering a burst of flavor with fresh, delicate textures. For the main course, we ordered the egg fried rice, which was incredibly flavorful and the perfect complement to the star of the evening: the 32oz (1kg) A5 Kagoshima short-bone ribeye. This ribeye was a true masterpiece—cooked to perfection, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture that felt like butter. The balance of flavors and quality of the meat were exceptional, making it one of the best steaks we’ve ever had. Our server, Alec, provided outstanding service. He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and ensured we had everything we needed to make our experience special. At the end of the meal, we couldn’t resist purchasing (or as they put it, “adopting”) one of their iconic metallic Lucky Cat figurines as a keepsake. Overall, Lucky Cat exceeded our expectations in every way. The food, ambiance, and service made it a night to remember. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an extraordinary dining experience.

Great food, amazing drink selection. From the food to the cocktails to the sake to the Japanese whiskey, the selection was amazing and my server Rudy had a beyond impressive knowledge of all of the above. The whole experience was awesome, I have other plans but I’m thinking of going back anyways because I enjoyed the experience so much!
