   Very disappointing, the choice of meals is bit minimal and boring, I had the cod cheeks to start and expected the flesh to be much larger pieces, it was too spicy so any fish taste was masked. I had sole as the main course it was much smaller than my last visit and not particularly fresh. It was served with a handful of parsley leaves on top. My partner had the fish cake as her main, it was served with gloopy spinach and far too much sauce, she found it bland a boring. I wouldn’t recommend a visit, such a shame we were hoping for an improvement on Loch Fein,

   We were staying in an Air BnB for the weekend and had no local knowledge, so we went by reviews, and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is a beautiful building right on the square with an imposing frontage. The atmosphere was relaxed, and Kelly and her team gave a very warm welcome. The service was excellent and justified the service charge. The food was all fresh and tasted gorgeous. I had the Smoked Kipper Pate, Chicken Schnitzel and the Bramley Apple Cheesecake. My husband had Wild Rabbit Terrine, Trout and Dark Chocolate Mousse. We couldn't fault any of it and our friends were very impressed too. It was so good we booked for breakfast on the Sunday and were very impressed with that too.

   Great location in Woburn town centre and excellent place for lunch. 2/3 course daily set menu is top value and suitable for all ages.

   We had an enjoyable lunch, nice change from a standard Sunday lunch. The prix fixe menu choices were varied and interesting. I particularly enjoyed my Eccles cake with blue cheese dessert and the watercress soup and sole received rave reviews. Good choice of wines by the glass

   Staff are very welcoming, service is excellent and the atmosphere is is very warm and enjoyable. Good choice of food of good quality. All in all a most enjoyable evening meal.

   Staff were attentive and friendly. The food was lovely. We were a table of 6 for a 2x birthdays. My niece has allergies which were taken into consideration and it was clear what she could and couldn’t eat. This made the whole experience comfortable and worry free. The only negative thing I would say was we didn’t all enjoy the desserts but I think that might just be a difference in taste. Otherwise it was a great location, lovely venue, attentive staff and good food. I would recommend.
