I’m sad to have to give negative feedback of my experience at Magdalena but overall this was such a huge let down. The NYE DJ soirée that was promised was non existent. Playing music on speakers does not mean there is a DJ so this NYE package should never have been sold as this. Your price point is way off, charging €380 for two people to serve such average food and awful service is quite shocking . The setting is beautiful but staff aren’t up to scratch and neither is the food to be charging prices like this. We saw numerous people becoming frustrated with the lack of service and a lady very audibly sharing her feelings about the food being very disappointing and service being poor. Awkward all round.

I was extremely excited to attend the NYE dinner here after seeing the menu. Arrived at the restaurant after I called and confirmed the reservation over the phone. When I arrived, the host inspected all of my clothes from head to toe, asking what kind of pants I was wearing and to unzip my jacket to show my sweater. I was turned away since my sweater and outfit was “not chic enough” — there were others sitting in the restaurant wearing very similar clothes. No mention of a dresscode anywhere, and it’s not like I was wearing sweatpants and sneakers, rather proper pants, a knit sweater and some boots. Then he immediately cancelled the reservation on the iPad in front of me. Seemed like he was trying to find any excuse to turn me away at the door, and based on other reviews I am not surprised if they overbooked the restaurant and are trying to find any excuse to cancel reservations. Needless to say they ruined my NYE experience in Paris. Huge disappointment 👎 will never consider coming here again, I hope nobody else does either

We books for New Years Eve, and were really looking forward to a nice night out. The food was outstanding however the service was below average, particularly when considering the cost per person. It was disappointing because the food was so good! Just not worth the money unfortunately

This spot is really cute, food is great, and the service was excellent thanks to André. The ground level is a beautiful restaurant and bar with nice plants between each table creating a somewhat private feel (so you Arne t looking to your side and staring at the race of someone at the table next to you. The upper floor is like a restaurant and club, with a live DJ on the night we were there, and folks singing karaoke. Everyone entering was either well dressed, or dressed for a night out clubbing as they stopping to take pictures on the iconic stairs. Waiter rushing by with bottle service requests, flares/fireworks, and lots of dancing and food. This place was worth the visit on a freezing day. When we left it was pouring down rain and we didn’t have the right clothing on, our waiter even took care of us to make sure we had an umbrella.

Bonjour J'ai choisis ce restaurant pour des retrouvailles entre copines. Nous étions 4. J'ai aimé la décoration, le fait qu'on nous prenne nos affaires dans les vestiaires. (ils ont juste oublié de proposer de prendre le manteau à la dernière arrivée de notre groupe). Vu que c'était le jour de l'ouverture on nous a offert une verre de champagne à chacune qui était bon. Nous avons commandé 2 entrecôtes saignante qui étaient décevantes, frites étaient également décevantes. Les haricots vert de la poêlée de légumes sont croquant. Les Saint-Jacques étaient bonnes, mention spéciale pour la purée. Niveau dessert nous avions commandé une tarte à la framboise et tarte au citron, le crémeux de la tarte au citron étaient très bon mais la pâte décevante. Pour résumé bon accueil, mais la qualité des plats dessert ne justifie pas le prix.

We arrived at the restaurant with a booking via OpenTable at 7pm and were told quite rudely they don’t open until 8pm as they were still cleaning. The door was promptly closed in our face. This was very disappointing as we had planned our visit meticulously during the festive season

Fantastic restaurant across the street from the church. Beautiful interior and the servers there are wonderful! They will offer any recommendations on food , wine and spirits. Highly recommend this gem! 💎 I will return next time I’m in Paris. ❤️🇫🇷
