   Fantastic modern Mexican food and cocktails. The range is good for meat, fish, veggie and vegan taste.

   Best Mexican food I think I’ve ever had in Sydney, and fabulous cocktails. Waitstaff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, without making you feel like you had to rush.

   We have an excellent dinner at Maiz. The margaritas were really good, all the dishes were authentic and tasted delicious. The standout dish was the pulpo, it was so tender and the dish had great flavour combinations. The dessert was the only dish we didn't rave about, it tasted like a granola bar with some strawberries and yogurt. Maybe it was an off night! maybe we didn't choose well? It wouldn't stop me from returning though. The customer service was great, and all in all, a lovely evening at reasonable prices.

   Amazing delicious unique Mexican food. Highly recommend this place for dinner, and although it is not a cheap feed, you will not be disappointed! Only drawback is that it was a bit noisy bit this didn't diminish the quality of our dining experience.

   The food was really tasty but we felt a little rushed through our dinner with the wait staff moving on to the next course quite quickly, sometimes while we were still eating our previous course. She was very nice though and otherwise did a good job. Looking forward to trying it out again soon

   Yes, it is possible for a restaurant to go from strength to strength. Every time we go, it gets better! The new entree (tomatoes) was sublime. The hibiscus & mescal drink delicious. Ice blocks the perfect end to a perfect meal! Thank you again, Maiz!

   Average food. Service was terrible. Staff lingering around the bar like it was their private club. Couldn’t get anyone’s attention to ask for the bill. Terrible. Won’t be going back.

    Si quieren probar comida mexicana autentica, este es el sitio. Soy mexicana viviendo en Sydney y puedo decir que los sabores son como los de Mexico. Muy buena carta y servicio, tanto los chicos que atienden como Juan Carlos quien me parece es el manager. Nosotros pedimos un mezcal por supuesto que tienen verdaderos mexcales artesanales, agua de jamaica, el taco al pastor, a tostada de calllo de hacha, el aguachile de pescado y el volcan de pulpo. Todo para compartir y todo delicioso. Al postre ya no llegamos pero seguro volveremos a probar todo lo que nos falta de la carta. Super recomendado!
