Maple Tree Inn was awarded the very prestigious honor of being named in the Top 50 Southern Restaurants In America by OpenTable in 2018. We are proud to announce that the Maple Tree Inn has permanently relocated to Homewood, IL. We have maintained almost 100% of our staff and they have made the move with us.
We are still committed to the art of Cajun/Creole cooking & maintaining our status as the first and longest-running Cajun/Creole restaurant in Chicagoland. We are featuring a menu of our signature dishes including our Hickory Buttered BBQ Shrimp, Country Gumbo, Jambalaya, Crawfish Étouffée, and many more! We have boutique wines on draft, signature hand crafted cocktails, and an impressive craft beer list. Our hand crafted, premium cocktail menu highlights the very best of our repertoire.     I’ve been dining at the Maple Tree Inn since they opened. My man and I have tasted at some point everything on the menu. That’s just it- their menu has not changed other than seasonal desserts. The fried green tomatoes have always been one of my favorite appetizers but it’s terribly disappointing to get 4 slices of a green regular sized tomato and now pay $1.00 more @ $17.00. They could have at least kept the large Beefsteak tomatoes. Overall it was pleasant. I understand the rationale of mastering your product. Within the last year the quality/quantity of our entrees have been inconsistent. I hope they consider adding a couple new items to their menu. I’m fine paying for a great dining experience, it’s becoming more of a last choice option. I live in the area and we’re not ready to completely give up on Maple Tree Inn.

    Excellent food, just unhappy with the amount of ice used in cocktails. You really only get ¼ worth of cocktail and the remaining is crushed ice..

    My experience at Maple Tree was wonderful! The valet who parked my car was friendly and accommodating and so was the hostess at check in. I had my meal at the bar and Emily was the bartender/server. She was extremely warm and friendly and offered excellent drink recommendations! Service was efficient but not rushed and the music and atmosphere made my experience even more enjoyable. I’m a vegan and I love that they offer a full vegan menu, from starters to dessert! I ordered the cornbread muffins, blackened mushrooms and grits and for dessert, cranberry apple crisp. Every morsel was delicious! Great energy and scrumptious food, I’d highly recommend!

    We had a wonderful dining experience at Maple Tree Inn. I made a note in the reservation that we were there to celebrate my son’s birthday and they did not disappoint! The server wished him a HBD and surprised him at dessert with complimentary beignets!

    Four diners had dinner. We had a drink, a signature starter split among us, four different entrees, and one great dessert split among us. The food all has a New Orleans slant and it was all excellent. Service was excellent and helpful. Dinner with drinks, dessert and coffee isn’t cheap, but I feel reasonable for the quality of the product. This is my fourth or fifth visit and it is consistently excellent!

    This was my first time here and I DEFINITELY will be coming back. From the complimentary parking to the servers, and bussers were excellent. Joe was our server and he was very informative on the drinks and all the food. He treated us very well! That seafood Gumbo was the BEST!!!
