   I recently dined at this restaurant and was left quite disappointed. Although it is not a buffet, the restaurant imposes a strict time limit on dining, which significantly affected our overall experience. Strangely, there were plenty of empty seats, so it wasn’t due to crowding or long queues. The biggest letdown was that we weren’t allowed to order any additional dishes after a certain time, even though we were still within our dining slot and clearly still hungry. The set menu we ordered included wagyu beef, but the portion was extremely small — definitely not enough to satisfy a normal appetite. When we asked to order more, the staff firmly refused, citing the time restriction. This policy felt very unreasonable and gave us the impression that customer experience was not a priority. If the restaurant is not offering buffet-style dining, limiting both time and ordering options doesn’t make sense and only leads to frustration. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place based on our experience.

   Food was good, however, the highlight was the customer service. I have allergies to nuts and seafood, and the staff (especially Edwin (I forgot the name sorry!) & the manager working at 5:15PM, 17/05/25) ensured i still had a good experience, going out of their way each time to double check any traces - this is quite rare in higher end restaurants from experience, as waiters/waitresses tend to selectively choose who to pay delicate attention to.

   Marble Yakiniku is the perfect place for special occasions. We had the Bamboo course meal, and everything was just outstanding. Sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the quality of the meat is honestly some of the best I’ve tasted in Melbourne. The service was top-notch too, making the whole evening even more special. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend it!

   We had our Mother’s Day lunch today and the food took way too long. The sashimi came timely but the lunch itself took almost an hour. Doesn’t help when we have two hungry kids. We placed our order about 1:50 and the lunch arrived almost 2:45. I know it’s a busy day but probably not fair for us to wait for so long twiddling our thumbs whilst trying to calm our kids.

   We went to Marble Yakiniku to celebrate our daughter's 10th B'day (made reservation beforhand for 3 adults and one child); so it was all about our daughter. I was very happy that my daughter absolutely loved the food and the ambience and so did we. Food quality here is beyond words. We have our standard Japanese Restaurant which is in Melbourne CBD and wanted to try something different but were always scared because where we normally go has a very high quality of food. Marble Yakiniku did not disappoint us; infact they were above and beyond my expectation.

   I/my family usually have/had the same food "soy based shabu soup", but it taste was so different from 2 weeks ago, It was too salty, This place used be very good and proud of foods they make, I wish I could have taste of foods with consistency a and better detailes.

   We have been to Marble Yakiniku twice in the last year and by far it is our favourite restaurant in Melbourne! The food is not only presented to a high standard but tastes delicious each time! The ambience makes you feel you are in a Michelin star Japanese restaurant and the staff are just amazing! Highly recommend for those foodies who love a good quality Japanese meal at a good price!

   Such a lovely experience Restaurant was a little hard to find per the address online however if you reach the boiling crab which is on the corner turn down the alley way you will definitely find the restaurant. Recommend to give this lovely restaurant a try Will definitely be back

    I have been to Marble Yakiniku for many times. The food and services remain high standard. Food was fresh and delicious. Each dish was crafted with care and attention to detail. The staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
