                                                                                      I was ignored on arrival, then told they needed to check if my table was ready, the restaurant was mostly empty, seated and then ignored again for another twenty minutes. I walked out as I will not support a business that doesn’t offer good service. Some water, a hello and discussion of the menu and order would have been great!

                                                                                      This location is just as wonderful as those in Paris that we have eaten at. Service was friendly and efficient; food, as usual, was the best value for truly unique and gourmet we have experienced. Tea menu is impressive and high quality compared to any other offerings.

                                                                                      We have been before and always enjoy, but this time despite my wife advising that it was a birthday celebration nothing extra was done for us. Also brought the tea out before the champagne. Otherwise all was good.

                                                                                      Selection of teas is amazing and the food is delicious. The service is friendly and professional, it’s a wonderful place for a long afternoon tea without pressure to hurry.

                                                                                      The Beautiful Afternoon Tea was delicious along with the Marco Polo tea. The tea room itself was noisy at times, such that we could not hear what the waitress was saying when she described the food. The waiting staff did not seem to understand English very well as our request for vegetarian food required three different members of staff to ask the same question and the water we asked for never arrived.
