We were visiting Newark for a hockey tournament. We stayed downtown at Hilton Garden and went here for dinner one night. It was excellent! The service, the food, the ambience…we loved it all! The avocado taco and the salsa / chips were our favs!

As always great food and great experience! Even being a busy Friday night the service and food was good with no issues.

Atmosphere was nice, service was good and so was the chips and salsa. Unfortunately three out of four at the table didn’t care for the food.

It’s a cute restaurant. The menu is a little limited, but there are vegetarian options for my son, so we frequent the place. Staff is always friendly, and they have good drinks. Food tastes excellent, although a little heavy sometimes.

Our server was attentive and each dish well prepared- the mahi mahi and chorizo tacos are a meal by themselves! The mariposa margarita requires more than one sampling - we will all be back - it was a great birthday celebration.

This is the 2nd time I have eaten there. The margaritas are very good. I had a chicken taco and mahi fish taco. Both delicious. The only reason I gave a 4 star for the food is the chicken tortilla soup was very salty. It was also very thick - which was good.

We were met at the door by staff. Got to pick a seat in a booth. Had a soup special (excellent). Had a flight of margharitti's. What a great idea! Three choices (recommended by the waitress). We had a burrito and enchilada. Very good. The beutiful Licking County Courthouse is across the street. Newark, on the square, is very nice.
