Marmo, meaning “Marble” in Italian, will feature fresh hand-rolled pastas, house-made charcuterie, and hand-cut prime steaks. To complement the food menu, Marmo will boast an impressive wine list, with selections from all around the world spotlighted by wines from Italian regions. The bar and lounge will include a baby grand piano where a rotation of Houston’s best singers will perform nightly.

Happy Hour is offered daily from 3pm-6pm, on a first-come first-served basis, and is available at our bar, high top tables, and patio. (Please note that we do not accept reservation for our Happy Hour)

Consistently one of our favorites! Our server this time was amazing. We sat outside and it was a little chilly and he went out of his way to move a heater over to us and make sure we were comfortable.

Marmo in Montrose was our pick for a date night. We started with the beef carpaccio, which, unfortunately, didn't leave a lasting impression. It was fine, but it didn't quite stand out in terms of flavor or presentation. I think it could have benefited from something like an egg on top to add depth, or perhaps a more vibrant seasoning. The white cream sauce underneath was neutral—neither enhancing nor detracting from the dish. The handmade pastas, however, were a revelation. If you're a pasta lover, this is the highlight of the meal. The texture and flavor were outstanding, and I’d definitely recommend it as a must-try. The wine list could be more diverse, though, as the options felt a bit limited when it came to pairing with the meal. What really made the evening memorable, though, was our server. He was knowledgeable, made great recommendations, and really seemed to care about our experience. It was clear he knew the menu well and wanted us to have a great time, which we appreciated after a long work week. His service alone made the night worth it. I only wish I could remember his name—our reservation was at 6:45 p.m. if that helps. As for the ambiance, it was nice. If you're with a small party, be prepared to sit at a tiny side table or something a little in the middle of the space. Still, it’s a cozy vibe, and the setting is comfortable enough to enjoy a leisurely meal. Next time, we’re definitely planning to try one of the steaks on the menu—there was something about the list that made it seem worth the try.

Incredible dining experience from top to bottom, soup to nuts. Our waiter, Val, was an absolute delight with the best recommendations. The Squid Ink Campanelle specifically is an absolute triumph and a must try. We will be back!

Food was outstanding - best Italian food I’ve had in Texas. We had the tuna carpaccio and roasted carrots for the appetizer - both were loaded with flavor and super unique. We then had the bolognese pasta and vodka sauce pasta accompanied by broccolini for our entrees. The pasta was perfectly al dente and sauce on both dishes was fantastic - true classic dishes done perfectly. As a Chicagoan, I’ve found it difficult to find any good, authentic Italian food in Texas and this place hit the mark! service was also fantastic - shoutout to Jose! We will be back.
