The food was perfectly authentic Italian cuisine. I will most definitely return to try another pasta dish.

Great food for a great price! The specials they had were delicious and the beef and spinach ravioli were fabulous. Bianca was great and attended to everything. We will definitely be back!!

Space is very small and tables are close together. Food was okay and the drinks tasted a little “off”. Staff was friendly! Very understanding when I called to let them know we were late for our reservation :) It’s nice that it’s a short walk to the garden and suitable for 2/3 people but not a good space for groups in my opinion.

This is one of favorite Italian restaurants in Boston. It’s quaint, off-the-beaten path and authentic! I ordered a plused-up version of Chicken Marsala and my wife had a seafood pasta with shrimp and scallops in a red, lemon cream sauce. Both were excellent with the portions to big to finish after the salad, bread and herbed olive oil! We like dining in the cellar as it’s more intimate. Will eat at Massimino’s again on our next visit!

Fra Diavlo Scampi and steak pizzaiola were very good. Service was great. Tight quarters but never felt crowded. With a full room in tight quarters it was energetic but not too loud to not be able to carry on a conversation.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant was small but nice. The food was okay. The best appetizer was the eggplant with garlic and oil. The main dishes were just okay and not worth the money. I will not be back but the staff was super nice.
