The food is excellent. We arrived for our 7:00 reservation and our food arrived at 8:07. It was a very long wait. Understandably, it was a peak busy time, but it was disappointing to wait that long. The tables are very close together and thus, very loud. The table next to us was unbearably loud. The ambience is very plain. Drip ceilings and very plain decor. Doesn’t look Italian at all. The only thing to love about this place is the food and the professional wait staff.

Service was great, drinks were great, food was good. Only had bolognese and gnocchi but it was good. Should offer a lamb meatball with a goat cheese sprinkle instead of the cheese it has now. Especially if the server is going to clear table of the knives and other utensils. Otherwise it’s good. Will try other stuff next time.

This was out first time trying Mastello and we were extremely impressed! Delicious cocktails and quality entrees. Service was great! We will be back!

Mastello is hands down our favorite restaurant in Fort Myers. We had a lovely Valentine's Day dinner outside. Service was nice and not rushed and the food was excellent as always. Thanks!

We love Mastello. Great wine selections. Food is delicious and fabulous wait staff and owner, Vincenzo. On this night I had the fish special and I should have learned from the past, to not order fish at an Italian restaurant. It was fishy and not nearly as well prepared as other fine dining restaurants known for their fish. Other than that, this restaurant is always wonderful.

We arrived at 5:45 and told our server we had theatre tickets for 7:30 and had to by 7:10. At 6:50 our appetizers arrived and we ran out of time and had to cancel our mains. We've dined a Mastello previously and enjoyed it, but last night was poorly managed.

First time we dined here and ordered the Eggplant Parm with Rigatoni and the Rigatoni Bolognese with an Arugula and Wedge salad. Dinner was served with warm bread that had a crisp crust, the portion of the salads and meals was generous. The Rigatoni Bolognese was good and had plenty of meat in the sauce. The Eggplant on the other hand was cut thin and lacked sufficient sauce. The rigatoni that came with the Eggplant had a lighter colored sauce that may have been a Vodka sauce but not sure. We ordered Tiramisu for dessert which was very good. Over all, we were not impressed and will not be returning.

Excellent experience! Courtney was our server who had great recommendations! We loved the oyster Rockefeller, pesto sea bass and molten chocolate cake !!
