   I like this restaurant, but I requested a good seating for my date in my reservation, and we got seated in a tight spot by the closed window (couldn’t see out) and I had to sit in the sun when it was over 100 degrees out. The metal wall and window burned and hurt to the touch— no one should have to sit there. Both me and my date were sweating and hot the entire time and had to leave quicker than we wanted to because of that. I left sweaty and not enjoying the atmosphere at all. While the service was overall good, it was slow at times and our waiter forgot about my drink. The food was flavorful but miss proportioned and has to ask for a bit more rice as I didn’t receive nearly enough to match my meat portion. The only reason I would return is for the flavor of the food.

   Their chicken is phenomenal. Make sure to get extra sauces. Service is always attentive.

   This was so surprisingly amazing. The best dolmas (grape leaves) I’ve had outside of Istanbul, and my wife said the baklava was similarly outstanding. The service was great, but clearly stretched a little thin on a bustling Saturday night. Two starters, two alcoholic drinks, two mains and a shared dessert for (just) under $100: incredible value! The portions were overly generous with the rice (which was cooked perfectly!) and really filling. Simple food done with tremendous care. I had the lamb shank, which was literally falling off the bone. We’re already planning our return. Next time I’m getting more dolmas!

   Celebrated my mother's 87 birthday here. She usually does not eat that much, but all the food was so flavorful she gobbled everything up! We especially like the crispy rice appetizer-(Tadigh) For main course we had the chicken which kabob, the Maydoon Bowl with chicken and Feesen Joon. The grilled chicken in the Kabob and the Maydoon bowl were both tender and juicy - Not dried out which sometimes happens with Chicken breasts. Perfect for my mother to eat, and she loved the rice! We both tried my sisters Feesen Joon and I definitely will order that when we return. Lovely indoor space for dinner.

   I love this place! This is my fourth time there, and the food is always great and the service very friendly and helpful. I always get the Maydoon Bowl, but the lamb shank is also fantastic. Drinks are good as well. Food prices are amazingly affordable, many entrees $20 or less.

    Maydoon was amazing. We had a 12pm lunch reservation. By 12:15 every table was full and it was bustling! All of our dishes were absolutely delicious. Fresh, hot, and so flavorful. We all got different things and we were all very very impressed. Chicken breast was so tender, hot, and bursting with flavor. Service was kind and efficient. My only negative was that it was so busy that it was so loud I could barely hear my tablemates (and I am reasonably young, lol, noise level is not usually a concern of mine). Maybe some acoustic panels of some type could be helpful. But overall, we are 100% coming back and recommend to everyone!
