   The atmosphere is wonderful. Easy, relaxed, warm. No loud music, what a relief! The food is outstanding - fresh, local produce, beautifully prepared. As in most good eateries the price tag is pretty steep.

   Absolutely love this place - food and service is incredible! Staff always friendly, knowledgeable and warm hearted and the food is delicious. Cannot stop ordering the potato pizza with guanciali, scarmorza and anchovies. Carls beet salad was a duo of earthy goodness on freshest creamy ricotta swirled with heavenly virgin olive oil! Oh, and the house margaritas were perfectly balanced and too hard to stop at one! Thanks, guys, we’ll be back!

   Exceptional food, and equally as fantastic service. Couldn’t recommend it more. By far my wife and l’s favourite spot to come.

   Exceptional food in a welcoming and buzzing dining room. Food was really really good. The young team did the best they could on a busy night. Great hidden spot off the beaten track.

   This was our first visit to McCarrs House and we were really impressed with the friendly staff and the atmosphere of the place. The food was limited but what we all had was very nice and tasty. Would definitely come back again.

   The online reviews of Berkelo Kitchen were glowing, so I booked for a Sunday birthday lunch for six. We did enjoy the authentic Italian food, though some of the main course dishes were a bit pricey, and a 10% surcharge is applied on Sundays. The ambience is nothing special though, it is little better than a scout hall! Also, various issues with the service could definitely be improved: two ordered items were unavailable; our water glasses were never topped up; desserts were delivered about 15 minutes after the coffees, when they were ordered together; and my tea was served as tea leaves in a grubby milk jug of hot water- no teapots? All in all, not what the reviews led me to expect. It was less than half full today, so perhaps better that they just rebrand as a brunch/lunch café? Burnt Orange in Mosman offers way better service, value and ambience.

   The food was excellent, and the staff were helpful and pleasant. Noise level was a little high for those of us of advancing years.

    Me and my partner had the best experience at Berklo kitchen! The food was bloody delicious, all the staff were lovely and the vibes were high! Defs be back again sooon x
