Our first experience at Meantime was a disaster and I hope , if there's a next time, it improves markedly. Ordering drinks and meal was simple, or so we thought, choice was good and young woman at counter, efficient. Knew it would be busy on NYE so were prepared to wait, but over an hour later, with no food, and other patrons who were seated after us, being served their meals, we queried staff. Our dinner order had not arrived in kitchen, another order was made, and, half an hour after that, still no food, we asked for a refund and, at 9pm, got fish and chips at another shop. Extremely disappointed!

3rd visit to Meantime,food is good, garlic bread not so much.Meals were a bit rushed which is understandable on New year's eve.Staff were run of their feet,and were extremely helpful.

When we arrived for the Christmas buffet lunch at the suggested time. We only had left overs to choose from. All the seafood had gone. The lovely wait staff were fabulous and bought out some prawns for us. 9 prawns for a table of 5 really not good value for the $100 per person. Regretfully, we were seated next to people who decided to bring their dogs. If I knew dogs were permitted on the premises I would not have booked.

Lack of organisation is how i would start , advertised as seafood and Christmas dinner and guess what minimal seafood served, no one at the buffet to check when food was empty and after staff were notified it took 15-20 minutes to get anything topped up Personal i would recommend people to stay away as there are plenty of other good spots to eat in that area

A super Christmas buffet with fresh oysters and prawns, delicious roasts, veges and salads, plus pavlova and sticky date pudding. And more of course. Staff could not have been more cheerful. It was great.

Absolutely delicious as always! Excellent understanding of food allergies - this continues to be the only restaurant we can eat at with a son with anaphylactic food allergies

The waiter was great very happy, friendly, atmosphere was great, music was quite loud so you had to shout a little to talk to each other. Entrees were great panko prawns and bbq chicken wings. Mains were very average, steak was tough and very chewy which was $48, wife gnocchi was very flavorless and tasted like it had skin all ready formed on the outside of, like a cooked potato, wasn’t soft and melt in your mouth, ordered Bundaberg gave me ginger ale which was fine but said it was a bunderberg. Then got told there out of stock. Been wanting to go here for a while and was disappointed. Won’t go again unfortunately.
