    The Korean chicken looked amazing, the eggs Benedict was underwhelming with far too much bread in relation to egg or sauce. The service was fine and there’s always a nice atmosphere.

    My best friend and I regularly meet for brunch and Medicine is always our first choice. It is always busy on a Saturday morning which is a great vibe so we expect to wait a little while, we always seem to have to wait atleast 20 minutes for our order to be taken which then means another 30 minutes for food which is always good which is why we keep booking..until our visit yesterday .. I arrived at 10.25 am five minutes early. We were seated by an efficient front of house member of staff. We waited until 10.50 for our order to be taken, drinks came quite soon BUT our food arrived at 11.30! We asked twice about the delay. When my breakfast brioche arrived the bacon was barely cooked not the inviting slightly crispy bacon I usually enjoy… we didn’t mention this as the front house staff gave us a complimentary coffee as an apology for the delay. There were just two food service staff ( one was a new member of staff) is that fair on the staff or us as customers.. ? I will continue to book in the hope that next time we eat in a timely fashion and the kitchen don’t rush our order. I think feedback is good ..without it we can’t facilitate change.

I have investigated your comments with the management team.They were fully staffed front of house, including both Managers on the floor , unfortunately, there had been an earlier issue with the printer that shares orders with the kitchen team. This caused a short delay in service, for the chefs to catch up. Please in future, always make us aware if your order is not perfect as we will always be happy to replace.     Excellent customer service. Lots to choose from on the menu. I had mushrooms on sourdough, greens and a poached egg on top, it was delicious, the homemade lemonade is amazing too. It’s a great place to eat out for lunch with family or friends, great atmosphere. Really enjoyed my visit and will definitely recommend.

    Lovely brunch, French toast was huge! Fabulous plant based menu too. Oh and a pain au chocolat the size of my face 🥳😁

    It was a busy early lunchtime. We ordered drinks, both hot drinks arrived soon afterwards but after waiting 15 more minutes for my daughter’s cold drink I had to flag down a waitress and ask for it. The food came, one veggie breakfast, a Ruben sandwich and portion of fries. My daughter is 12 and vegetarian and there was nothing on the children’s menu she liked so plumbed for a portion of fries . She’s at that in between age with the menu but only likes her food plain and would not eat any of the adult dishes due to mixing of ingredients,dressings and spice. When the order arrived there were fries with the sandwich which were in an enamel mug whereas the individual portion arrived on my breakfast plate in what I can only describe as an expresso cup. Without saying anything the waitress promptly took the fries and alio from my plate. (Leaving a generous gap) and placed this tiny portion in front of my daughter where the tomatoes sauce from my plate was all on the bottom of the vessels and transferred rings on to the table. I couldn’t quite believe what she did or understand this action. I was speechless. The waitress left and my daughter became quite upset at this token gesture of a portion. I couldn’t get the waitresses attention again. My friend kindly swapped her mug and of fries for the mini portion so at least my daughter was able to eat. I wasn’t sure if the Ruben came with chips as hadn’t been paying attention when my friend ordered hers. Surely that was the mix up but when I went to pay the bill I was charged for two fries and alio @ £8. This was difficult to argue over where I was dealing with someone else so I paid it and we left but felt a little dissatisfied at quite a clumsy and strange experience.

    Busy because it's popular so always book at table. Which we did. Vegan Medicine, Harrisa Benedict and Halloumi Sandwich. All delicious. Service always great and great value for money.

    It’s a fabulous place to eat. The food is wonderful & the staff so friendly. We love it here. Make sure you buy a delicious treat to take home for later - you won’t regret it. Two minor points: it’s quite cold & noisy due to the room being one big open space. Wrap up warm, be prepared to speak up & you’ll have a lovely time!

    Another deeply rewarding visit and a reminder of why Medicine is so good. The eggs benedict was delightful and the service, as always, perfect. Plundered the bakery on exit. How can anyone resist so much temptation?

    I had a cocktail, it was delicious! Sadly the food review is not so positive. The burger I had was on a small plate, I prefer a dinner plate. I had a side order of fries that were less than Luke warm. I personally felt the area we sat, too cold. I’d be happy to re visit again if passing but would not go out my way tbh.
