   The bread was the best part of our experience. Our waiter was nice but never came back to check on us once our meals were delivered to our table. With that in mind, one of our meals was incorrect, and the other two dinners were undercooked. Needless to say we were quite disappointed with our experience.

   Enjoyed the nostalgia of sitting in “St Mark’s Square”. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable.

   We had a lovely evening at Mercato. The grilled octopus was tender and tasty. 2 in our party has the risotto special with prawns which was delicious. Although the portion was huge and could have fed 3. The drinks were excellent. Try the limoncello drop! The most impressive part of the dining experience was our knowledgeable server Anthony. He was both personable and well versed in the menu items and helped with menu recommendations.

   This was a return visit as our first dinner a few years ago was so good. The kitchen kept making mistakes: wrong salad delivered, one meal so salty it has to be remade, an ingredient missing in a meal, one meal arrived without the salmon that had been ordered. Eventually everything was ok but the restaurant gave no concession after all of these issues.

   Service was good but food just ok. Arugula salad has not good. Had only a scattering of walnuts and feta and tomatoes were old and off taste. Didn’t eat it and pricey. The pizza was good but a little soggy the crust needs to I be firmer. Pappardelle bolognese was tasty but not memorable. I think Cannaletto across the square is a notch above.

    Very slow. Everyone seated after us had their order taken and their food before we got water and beer and we were seated before all of them…. Food awesome, server nice but slow. Manager stood by our table and never did a thing
