Meridionale which means “from the south” is a new concept purposely created to showcase our food culture.
The team invites diners to relax in rustic, warm surroundings and celebrate all things Italian. With its pared-back interior and casual atmosphere, customers are drawn back to Meridionale time again. Covering much of southern Italy’s culinary culture, what you see here is the real deal.
Fresh, top-quality ingredients are blended to create genuine Italian fare, with the aim to take diners on a culinary journey through the Southern regions: think homemade fresh pasta and Neapolitan pizzas alongside fresh fish and seafood dishes. Gluten-free pasta and pizzas are also on the menu. The team hails from the likes of Naples, Apulia, Calabria, and Sicily and we are highly passionate and knowledgeable about the food we serve.

                                                                                                  The food was delicious (especially the lasagne) and traditional and the restaurant itself was quaint and lovely. Great manager/owner who was so welcoming and attentive. We had a good night, so much so we went back the next day!

                                                                                                  The hosts were Neapolitan so we knew the food was going to be delicious. They were also really friendly and provided a great service. It was a really enjoyable meal and we all loved our time there.

                                                                                                  Excellent Trattoria with very good food. Service very friendly and attentive. However where we sat was next to a very loud and noisy group of people that needed us to raise our voices. Next time will try and sit somewhere else. Also desserts not as great as starters and mains. Try to also adorn the restaurant with some Xmas decoration as looked very bare during our visit.

                                                                                                  Great and warm welcome from the staff, we had starters, main and dessert, absolutely delicious, very traditional recipes from southern italy, i will be back, i definitely recommended it.
