Originally opened in 2012 on Roger Williams in Ravinia, Merlo's Italian Restaurant is BACK! Now situated on bustling Vernon Avenue in the heart of Glencoe, this family owned restaurant has the same traditional Italian style dishes & vibe you remember in a new and exciting location of our home town.

Come in and enjoy the warm atmosphere as a family, a couple or with friends. Our menu features all of your classic favorites, some contemporary additions, daily fish specials, as well as delicious salads, vegetarian & gluten free options and as always, crowd pleasing desserts.                                                                         Very pleasant atmosphere. Server was good - not too much but there when we needed something. Salmon was delicious! My friend had whitefish Vesuvio and raved about it. The toll house cookie Sunday was perfect to share.

                                                                        Service and food were excellent. Menu had varied choices. I had the brick chicken which was terrific - loved the sauce. One of my friends had the chicken lemon piccata which he said was delicious. Other friends had fish dishes which they also loved. Wonderful selection of appetizers and salads as well. Loved the Merlo’s salad and the eggplant stack. This is my fourth time visiting this restaurant and I’ve been happy every time. Highly recommend the restaurant.

                                                                        We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Merlo's. We were surprised that on an early Sunday evening that it wasn't busier. The food was really delicious and the portions were very generous. We'll return.

                                                                        The food was delicious and service was good too. We had been here once before but our friends had not. They loved it and we all agreed we’d be back. Very nice atmosphere, but it is a little loud with lively conversation all around.
