In keeping with the spirit of a traditional mezcaleria found in Mexico City, the elongated, plush banquette anchors each table inviting guests to sink in and relax. Every corner of the dining room reveals treasures from Johnny’s travels, paired with captivating art like intricate Mexican embroidery that sparks conversation. At the heart of the space is a captivating mural on traditional bark paper by local Latinx artist Maria Morante, a powerful homage to Mexican folk art.

So good. The aged fish is so tender and delicious. Oxtail taco one of the best. So fun.

Wow, this was truly one of the best meals I've had in a while. Every bite was incredible, the drinks perfectly balanced, and our server was incredible with providing recommendations and making sure we picked enough food for our group. The toro tostada and beef cheeks both came highly recommended by our server and were both absolute standouts! The drinks were great too. I got the Corn Sour which was well balanced and a unique combination. Highly recommend and will be back!

sitting at the "chef's table" (bar top) was a wonderful experience. Chatting with our personal chef who described exactly what the ingredients were in each item we order was a great thing, especially as we do have a few dietary restrictions. I would highly recommend going for the food and wine. The food is not "heavy" and your tastebuds will thank you. Plan on going back many times.

Another Alma hit! This place was so special and Owen at the chefs counter made the visit lots of fun. All of these dishes have such a unique profile and they’re all absolutely amazing. It felt like I was transported to CDMX as soon as I walked in. Will be back for more !

Lovely. My husband said it was a good thing we had to drive 20 minutes because this would be such a temptation if it was down the street. Had a toro tostada that was delicious and huitlacoche burrata that was my favorite. The corn cocktail tasted a bit like a pisco sour. It was really nice. Great service. Nice for date night.
