“Mi Vida” translates to “My Life.” However, in Mexico, “Mi Vida” means much more. “Mi Vida” is a term of endearment bestowed on close family and friends to signify love, care and importance. When one says, “Mi Vida,” they are telling someone special how much they mean to them. MI VIDA describes how we feel about our team and our guests. It is our expression of Mexican culture and cuisine as interpreted through the lens of Chef Roberto Santibañez. Our menu is rooted in the history and culinary tradition of Mexico while exploring the ever-changing boundaries of this vibrant and evolving cuisine.

Excellent service. Allowed additional food items to be added to nachos! Nachos were phenomenal! Tacos were fire! Some of the food is pretty spicy and I like spicy food but asking for sour cream helped. Great service. Didn’t wait long for food. Would definitely go back.

Fixed family-style menu was excellent, although it's a lot of food, and for 10 people, it took a while for everything to arrive.

Chips were saltier than normal, salsa was too hot for everyone at the table, because t the entrees and Rita’s were on point.

This is the second time for a date dinner here at Mi Vida Penn Quarter, most definitely won’t be the last. Our experience this time was outstanding as usual. From the Hostess to the server (Jose), the food and drink, the manager (Tyson) the attention was perfect. Mixed drinks are mind blowing. They are pricey but it is worth it for cocktails. Ordered Fish tacos and mole beef enchilada ( this is so good I had to order it again, it’s so unfair to the other choices). Great Job Mi Vida PennQuarter. See you soon.

Fantastic dinner before the Caps game. Delicious drinks and food was wonderful. Enjoyed the shrimp tacos with the habanero slaw
