   Food and service was great as usual. We took our 3-year old granddaughter with us tonight, and she loved it too. The staff was very accommodating. Very pleasant evening. Highly recommend

   We always love the food and service at Mia Nonna's Cucina and New Year's Eve was no different. The thing that made New Year's Eve outstanding was the cost. The four course prix fixe menu was so reasonable - not the usual price gouging that goes on just because it's NYE (or Valentine's Day, etc). Even though they offered their Branzino on the prix fixe meal (my favorite of their fish dishes) I decided to try the Lobster Ravioli with crab and scallops, and my husband had the Osso Bucco. Both were delicious, although my ravioli could have been served a little warmer. The Osso Bucco came out piping hot. They offered a complimentary glass of prosecco at the end of our meal. I've said it in a previous review, but I'm so glad we found such a good restaurant so close to home.

   We ordered from a special New Year’s menu and everything was beyond amazing! The Luigi Gamberoni had two jumbo sautéed shrimp in a very tasty sauce, with cannellini beans, cherry tomatoes and cherry peppers served warm over baby arugula. Next came a very tasty Caesar Salad. Our entrees were both a veal choice - my husband ordered the Osso Buco with mushroom risotto in a Marsala demi glaze. Every bite disappeared! I chose the Veal Alla Mia, the veal medallions were pounded very thin and tender, and topped with two more jumbo shrimp, artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes and capers in a lemon white wine sauce, served over linguini. It was superb and such a large portion, I took some home for another meal. Our dessert choice was the chocolate mousse cake, which was kindly boxed up for us to enjoy later, since we were both too full, but it looks so delectable!! Our compliments to the chef, kitchen staff, and our friendly and attentive waitress!

   Dinner last night was excellent. I had the short ribs - very tender and juicy, my husband had the branzino which was flavorful and well prepared. The calamari appetizer was crisp and cooked to perfection. I love the afogado coffee ! Our server, Abby, was absolutely perfect !

    Service was prompt, food was good, nice portions. They have a liquor license and decent selection of beers. Could probably use a few more wine options and possibly a corkage $$ option for folks who like to byob. Maybe they do, I didn’t ask.
