你好, welcome to the Mandarin!

Established in 1961, this traditional and authentic Cantonese restaurant in Blackpool town centre has been extending a warm oriental welcome to customers for 64 years!

Choose from a mouth-watering selection of delicious dishes including Mrs Wan’s dumplings, made from her own recipe, Szechuan chilli beef, Nasi Goreng and oriental fruit salad with lychee. We are very proud that every dish and every sauce is made in house, because we care about our food.


The belief that every meal shared should be special is why this restaurant takes time to carefully select and prepare the freshest Chinese dishes, adding just three extra ingredients - quality, experience and time.

Our core belief is that we are a local restaurant, open year round for local residents and visitors to the resort alike. We"ve worked for many years with our local suppliers to continue to bring you the best experience of Chinese food in Blackpool.

    Food unreal, staff very professional and attentive, definitely worth a visit. Always look to get in the mandarin when we visit Blackpool been going for 23 years and never disappoints

    Superb. Simply the best meal I've had, repeatedly, in years. It's Chinese, but a few levels above. Indescribable really. Simply fantastic

    First visit to Michael’s WAN’s restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. The restaurant was beautiful and it was very busy. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed it.

    Fab food as always, our only niggle was the added 15% service charge which added £16 to our bill which felt high between 2 of us, the bill did say for tables less than 6 it was discretionary but on NYE we were uncomfortable asking for it to be reduced.

    We booked as a party of 5 but due to M6 delays, one couple couldn't make it. However, the manageress was very understanding and agreed that the 5 x £10 deposit would be set against the final bill. The food was excellent - the Emperors Starter for 2 was lovely and very substantial! The mains were also really good along with the wine. Food-wise, we would go again if ever in Blackpool but we thought the total cost, which included a mandatory NYE supplement of 15%, definitely put it in the very expensive bracket.

    Very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Great potion size. Recommend the duck and pancakes and the chicken in black bean sauce
