MIDA by Chef Douglass William's is now open on East Boston's waterfront. Our James Beard Nominated restaurant group is situated directly on the edge of the pier with panoramic views of the downtown Boston Skyline. The restaurant is surrounded by the water on three sides with a massive patio that is perfect for date night and large groups at all hours of the day. Vaulted ceilings, sprawling windows, and a gorgeous lighting profile make this location the perfect destination for all occasions. The hostess refused to seat our party when 2 out of 3 people were there, with the 3rd was 15 mintues away. We were early for the reservation and the restaurant was otherwise empty! We ordered the fritto misto appetizer, and it was 2/3 fried lemon slices and jalapenos, just a handful of clam strips and calamari. The waitress tried her best, and the view is nice. But we won't be back.

We went for our anniversary dinner and it was amazing! The food was delicious, view was beautiful, and our server, Eli, was very attentive and genuinely cared about making our night special. 10/10

The food was excellent. Terrific waitstaff here as well. You can’t beat the view of Boston.

Everything about MIDA is perfect. The food, the service, the atmosphere, the view. MIDA is by far my favorite restaurant in the city!

We love this restaurant! This was out 10th or 11th time coming to this location and it is always an excellent experience! Can’t reccomend the Fritto Misto enough and the pizza and pasta are awesome too
