                        Mimi is beautiful inside, dark and a little mysterious. Service is attentive and professional. The noise level was perfect for conversation, and that is a rarity in Miami Beach where most venues are obnoxiously loud. Everything we ordered, including the seabass with ginger, four foot noodle with beef, scallion fried rice, was delicious and beautifully presented. That said, the portions are rather small. Be aware that a 20% tip is added to your bill. Mimi is perfect for a special occasion.

                        After a strong recommendation from a restauranteur, I went to Mimi Chinese and had an incredible meal. The service from Manny, Kas, Ken and everyone else was impeccable. Do NOT miss this restaurant when in town!!

                        Seated 40 min after reservation. The Szechuan chicken had a laughable abundance of inedible chilis over tiny pieces of chicken that made the entire table a mess and filled other dishes on plates next to it, making it hard to eat those dishes. They present the dish as an adventure to find the chicken and try to convince you that it is supposed to be fun but in the end joke is on them. They also condescendingly replied to our feedback saying “it’s okay you didn’t like it, it’s not for everyone”

                        We were a party of four this past Saturday with Reservations made in advance through Open Table. We dine out often, are great customers, spend money and appreciate good dining. Everything at Mimi's was fine until we were told by our server that we could not order anything else as we reached our maximum time at the table. We had not been there even (2) hours and we were looking to order another bottle of wine as we were having such a good time. I found this statement from our waiter shocking and it shows you where we are at with the attitude of some restaurants here in Miami - what is next placing a timer on the table? It appears quantity is being chosen over providing inviting and welcoming dining experiences. It is a shame as the food was excellent - but we will never go back to Mimi Chinese.

                        Newer to Miami and seemingly still working out the kinks. Great food, and good service! Management addressed all of the challenges experienced during arrival and dinner.

                        Delicious food but long hour wait time. Pleasant staff and they provided extra food and drink for the wait time. Everything we ate was truly great, we left no clean plate behind

                        The noise level at this restaurant spoiled the experience for me. Although the food was quite good and the service excellent, the cacophony was overwhelming. It needs sound quelling material! We enjoyed the chicken dumplings, prawns and scallion rice, but the ambience caused us to rush our meal and leave. Unless the restaurant can quiet down we won’t be back.
