                                                I had a wonderful experience at Miss River. If you are looking for a place to celebrate your birthday, go to this restaurant. The food was delicious and staff were amazing!

                                                Food was outstanding! Always is! The Jazz brunch is excellent with great music, ambience & high quality delicious food! Service today was not great. Waited for 30 minutes to get our drinks & had to ask several servers when we would get them. Pretty sure they forgot as it was another 10 minutes after asking before we got them. Then, waited another 30 minutes for our food that we ordered 50 minutes earlier. Very friendly servers but no one was on the ball with our orders. This was a one off as the service is usually great. I still highly recommend this restaurant!

                                                This was a miserable experience. Food was awful and so incredibly over priced. Over easy eggs came out hard, $24 bloody mary bar was not stocked and a complete waste of money. Eggs on toast tasted like fish. Never never never again!!!

                                                While Miss River is a beautiful restaurant within the Four Seasons hotel here in New Orleans, the experience fell short of what should be expected at a Four Seasons hotel. We were disappointed by the average food and below average experience.

                                                The food and ambiance was awesome as usual . Our disappointment was in the service - although very pleasant it was just disorganized. We had to flag down a waiter to order initial drinks and it took over 40 minutes to get them . It was awesome that they were eventually comped (after reminding after the bill came) the tone was already set . Second rounds also delayed -& many reminders for a glass of ice as the water was above room temperature. Obviously it was a shortage of bartenders but being the weekend between Xmas and new years it was surprising

                                                Have been in Nola for a week with family to celebrate the holidays. We’ve been to a lot of restaurants, some walkins and some with reservations. Meals and service were excellent at all - except here. Our party had a mix of revelion menu and normal. Everything was mediocre. Turtle soup was cold, duck confit salad came without the duck. Entrees lacked flavor. Our waitress was very pleasant but we rarely saw her. Drinks came after our apps, only 3 of our 4 desserts were delivered. This was for Xmas dinner, but they weren’t slammed. For more than $100 a person it wasn’t good value. Sometimes you give a restaurant a second chance after a bad meal because you can tell they were having a bad night. I wouldn’t do so in this case - it didn’t seem as though they were understaffed or it was an off night. I’d pass on Miss River, Nola has so many other outstanding restaurants to offer.
