Originally opened as Lyons English Grille in 1945, in 2014 the building was purchased from David Lyons and after a complete renovation we re-opened in 2015 as Mr. Lyons, a homage to Mr. David Lyons.

Mr. Lyons features steakhouse classics with a modern edge. Be transported to a bygone era when jazz standards, martinis and steak ruled the day while enjoying modern luxury and innovation. A classic steakhouse with a menu that puts local small farms first, delivered with impeccable tableside service. Editors pick for best steakhouse “Palm Springs Life 2021 and 2022.” Mr. Lyons features five unique experiences/spaces: The Salon, The Lounge, The Conservatory and Terrace, The Private Dining Room, The Private Dining Patio and Seymour’s.

Food and service were excellent! Very expensive. Entrees come with nothing . All veggies are extra and costly but delicious, You have to ask for bread which is also extra, but delicious! Service was excellent!

Atmosphere and hostesses greeting were great. The food was good, though we all agreed a few items were under seasoned. Steak house standards, at expected pricing. Negatives: we were all put off by the %kitchen charge (which we know was optional) being put on the bill automatically. Seems odd to be tipping a kitchen staff for making what we came to pay to eat. Plates were cleared before all were finished. And the corner booth/banquette we sat in was low for the table height.

Wonderful experience... Very welcoming staff from arriving with the valet parking throughout the entire meal. Not our first time dining at Mr Lyons and will definitely return.

Not a cheap place, but definitely worth the money for a good steak. Dimly lit in case that affects your decision but a very aesthetically pleasing ambiance and space. Kind and efficient staff.

Excellent first experience at this restaurant. French onion soup was delicious-flavorful without being too salty. Very well balanced. Enjoyed our entrees of Beef Wellington and Prime rib. Perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Beignets were a yummy end to the meal. Large portions-we ended up taking food home. Friendly and efficient services-good recommendations by our server.
