Parking on the ground level in the MW Valet only stall is prohibited and subject to be towed away at the owner expense.

    Literally one of the best meals I’ve had on island. But plain paper menu in an upscale eatery? Definitely in need of a new printer. Some better quality bond of paper? A bit concerning as a first impression. I will return.

    Our server was exceptional and prepared. She knew my allergies and spoke to the best dishes or drinks. She let us know about an unlisted kids menu for our little ones. She was attentive and available. Thanks Alyssa!

    Overall food (scallops, dumplings, kampachi, banana cream pie, chocolate dessert, were all good. The braised prime rib was too salty. There was some confusion with the reservation: On Opentable the reservation went fine. However when it came time to go to dinner, I noticed MW's website said they were closed on Sundays, including their answering machine. I could not cancel the reservation on Opentable because Opentable defaults you having to call the restaurant. Also MW charges a fee for missed reservations. And since I was unable to cancel on OpenTable, OpenTable wouldnt let me make a reservation anywhere else, which is rather harrowing as I was trying to find a Plan B for someone's birthday dinner that was about to happen in 30 minutes. Eventually I got through to the restaurant by using the "Leave a message" option on the restaurants answering machine (which isn't the obvious option I would have selected given I was 30 minutes away from the reservation), and someone picked up the phone and was able to clarify that MW is normally closed on Sundays except the particular Sunday I made the reservation. I explained the situation to the person who seemed rather blasé about the whole thing.

    Still one of the best spots in Honolulu. Every dish from appetizer to dessert is perfectly on point and the service is friendly and helpful without being over your shoulder all the time. Even the portion sizes were perfect, not too much, but more than enough to fill us up. Thank you MW for the great holiday dinner!

    One of the best restaurants in Honolulu. The menu is exciting and innovative and everything tastes as good as it sounds and looks. The pork hash dumplings in an aromatic broth and the fresh ahi and avocado appetizers are highlights. Both were outstanding. The mahi was perfectly cooked and the short ribs and pork chops were full of taste. Portions are generous enough to share after a round of appetizers. No one goes away hungry at MW. Last but not least, Michelle's desserts are amazing confections.

    My second visit for dinner at MW and thoroughly enjoyed dining there again . A convenient place for fine dining and a nicely varied menu.

    The noise was unbelievable, we couldn’t carry on a conversation across our table. The only reason we would not go back nor recommend this. Emily was a wonderful server. The food was spectacular, each course was delicious!
