Mykonian House offers authentic and traditional Greek seafood specialties. The menu will feature a full selection of authentic Greek cuisine and will offer a lunch prix fixe menu for $35.00 that includes first and second courses including dessert. From Greek classics like spanakopita, shrimp saganaki, chicken souvlaki, to name a few. Each dish is prepared with the utmost care and attention to capture the true essence of Greek flavors. The restaurant will also offer a selection of fish directly from Greece.

Mr. Politis has run other restaurants, including Yefis and Korali, two Greek spots on the Upper Eastside where he was a co-owner at both establishments.

We were made to wait 15 minutes for our 8 pm reservation with no real place to stand and no offer of a drink or something on the house as an apology. That said, once seated, the food was good, the service was prompt and friendly and there certainly was a lively atmosphere.

Food and service were outstanding. Had a red snapper dish for two that was superb. As in many NYC restaurants, tables are very close, and hard to have private conversation. Door when open caused a cold draft at our table. Nonetheless, would definitely return.

Another lovely fish meal at the Mykonian. So happy with this addition to the neighborhood--especially the salads, zucchini chips and lavraki--looking forward to visiting again in December and hoping they add an orange or olive oil cake to their dessert menu.

We have been going there for about a year now about once a week. Their food and service is consistent and always good. If you’re in the neighborhood or going to the museum. Definitely stop by for dinner or lunch.

Expensive, as are most fine restaurants on the UES. But the food is amazing and carefully prepared and the service is top notch! We like going early for a date night.
