Chef Nasrin can’t remember life before cooking. For her, cooking is an expression of love. In her family’s kitchen in Tehran, she faithfully learned secret recipes and delicate skills from her grandmother and mother. In her restaurant those dishes and memories are transformed into a flavorful experience that transcend borders and time. Nasrin's kitchen menu is a celebration of traditional dishes from all over Iran.

The menu consists of classic stews including her signature Fesenjoon - an elegant combination of pomegranate molasses and crushed walnuts, as well as other beloved favorites like Ghormeh sabzi. Kabobs, vegetarian centric appetizers and savory side dishes also adorn the colorful menu.

Chef Nasrin and her authentic cooking has been featured in several renowned publications: including the New York Times, The New Yorker Magazine, Vogue Magazine, Eater. She has also created memorable catering events for Google, Twitter, HBO & NYC Public Library.

    Excellent Persian food. Homey atmosphere and very friendly service. Not overly expensive. Great choice if you're in the neighborhood shopping!

    Our dinner experience was amazing! The ambience of the restaurant was so quaint and familial. And the food was absolutely delicious!

    Tucked away upstairs near 5th Ave this was a revelation! I won't bother mangling the names but the eggplant appetizer was amazing & definitely order extra bread. We could have shared 1 entree, with such generous portions. We both had a different chicken dish, one with chicken in the rice with loads of pomegranate seeds & pistachios decorating the plate & the other bone in chicken in a delicious sauce with saffron & basmati rice (I recommend the cucumber, mint yogurt side to accompany the chicken). So delicious! We will return again! Thanks for a wonderful meal.

    We were greeted promptly and made to feel very welcome. Our waiter was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. Unfortunately, the area where we were seated was very small and exceptionally crowded. Neither I nor the guy sitting behind me could move comfortably and the chairs were incredibly uncomfortable. The food was ok and the portion size was quite generous. If you have eaten exceptional Persian food in other cities such as DC. I wouldn’t recommend eating here as you just might be disappointed.

    The paner appetizer was incredible! Good food all around except the beef and lamb kebab could have used a condiment or sauce. Nice attentive staff and nice ambiance. Not busy at 5pm on a Saturday after a matinee.

    Service and were very good. The DJ was a little loud and made it difficult to talk. Overall very good experience
