                                                                            It was an amazing venue for a birthday celebration. We had 5pm reservation, and they greeted us as soon as the restaurant opened, and we were seated at the bookshelf side. The interior design was stunning, and I really loved how cozy and beautiful it felt the whole time we had dinner. We ordered crab dip and fillet mignon with a side of brussel sprout, which were all amazing. As a birthday surprise, they presented us with a gourmet cotton candy as well! I thought it was very cute and thoughtful. I’d definitely recommend it for any occasion :) can’t wait to be back.

                                                                            Server was very knowledgeable about menu ingredients. Thoughtful and well-done dairy-free & vegan options (not an afterthought as with so many places). Parsnip soup was a great starter. Filet was excellent. Ambience was traditional/classic library with wooden library shelving stacks and leather seating.

                                                                            This was our first time to the restaurant. Understand from our waiter it is undergoing a sale that may see a new hospitality group and/or chef coming in in the next few months so we are glad we tried it. However, with the build up of wishing to try this restaurant and knowing it might be gone before you know it we were a bit disappointed. Our server advised that the roasted chicken (brined for 24 hours, slow roasted and served with sides ) for two is a signature dish and what they are known for. We were intrigued and said we would try it along with the Jonas popovers (puff pastry with cheese). The popovers were amazing. When the chicken arrived we were excited, however on first bite we were taken back by how salty the bird was. (We cook competitive bbq and the chicken tasted as if we were submitting to judges for evaluation). It’s not a chicken you want to get dirty eating (as if it’s the best you’ve ever had) and take your rings off if you are easily affected by salt or preservatives. It was unfortunate how the chicken turned out as we were really looking forward to having their signature dish. We decided not to have any dessert so not sure how those are.
