The food was mostly super delicious-particularly the broiled oysters and the potatoes and raclette.

One of the best dining experiences I can remember. The food was incredible, the staff amazing. For fine dining, I found the prices to be reasonable. Will be back for sure.

Wow. Every dish here was spectacular. We started with oysters and the crab beignets, then segued to the Hamachi crudo, beef carparccio, oxtail dumplings, and short rib gnocchi. We finished with the chicken liver mousse followed by the bread pudding. DELICIOUS!! Nice wine list and great selection of liqueurs. Service was impeccable. I love this place!

The dill dipping sauce with the fries was very nice - a fresh change from ketchup. The food was delicious and well-prepared. The mini-Madeleines for dessert were adorable!

Wonderful food. Been there many times. The nuance changes in the dishes is so intriguing and delightful. Sl different spices, flavor combinations, and substrate changes always makes me come back.

Excellent experience at Normandie! We went for my son’s birthday on a Sunday evening. It was quite noisy. Helpful attentive staff. Really delicious food. We tried the oysters, hamachi, tuna, shrimp, crab beignets as well as the chocolate torte cake. All were superb. Very flavorful, carefully prepared and surprisingly large portions.

Ambience was great - perfect for a date night. Lively but not too loud. Food was really flavorful but the fries that came with the steak frites were tepid and my wife’s steak, ordered medium well (a little pink) was cooked really well done to the point of it being dry. Service was inconsistent. Staff was very friendly- bartender in particular- but went 15 minutes without seeing anyone to take our order after being seated and then went long gaps without being checked on.

We love Normandie. It is probably our favorite resraurant in Portland. Great service, delicious imaginative small plates. Highly recommend.
