The iconic Northcote Social Club has been a popular live music venue for many years, it has also become a favourite place to dine and enjoy a relaxed drink amongst the bustling High St. Whether you’re catching up for a drink with friends in the front bar, enjoying a meal from our modern pub inspired menu on our fully heated deck or hosting a special event or function in the Old Bottle Shop or newly renovated Treehouse, we have something for everyone. We are open for lunch and dinner throughout the week, with a diverse menu featuring share plates, to the traditional pub options including a classic parmigiana, Angus beef burger or a 250g Rump steak. The one, the only NSC parma night is back with a vengeance to enhance your Monday night madness tenfold. Let's face it, no one looks forward to Mondays. The words 'I can't wait until Monday' have never been spoken in a truly sincere and nonsarcastic way.. until now. Monday means $20 parmas, including chicken, eggplant and vegan, each and every goddamn week. Hell, we can't wait until Monday. We can't wait until every Monday from now until the end of time.
WEDNESDAY PIE NIGHT

A long, long, time ago.. we can still remember how that music used to make us smile. To be honest, it still does but you know what adds another level to ye ol' smile on ye ol' dile? Pies. Steaming hot with a side of crispy chips and salad, pies. There's nothing better to warm your winter-chilled cockles than one of these beauties, that's why each week we'll be serving up a rotating $20 pie special every Wednesday from 5pm. We had lunch to celebrate my daughtes birthday. Our table booking was on the deck, it was a bit too sunny so the staff member happily moved us inside. The young lady working behind the bar in the garden was delightful and recommended the steak sandwich which I had and it was really good. Definitely going back. Thank you.

The food was amazing. However where we were sitting was very dark and also quite noisy. Would definitely come back for the food though.

Our order took a long time to arrive, but an apology was offered together with a free round of drinks. That was very satisfactory and shows that the staff cares a great deal.

We had a family birthday dinner there with our three kids and found the staff and atmosphere welcoming and friendly. Our booking was for 5.30 on their Steak Night and there were other families with kids there too- it’s not a play centre vibe - all the kids were just at tables eating dinner and I saw a few cards games and a game of chess as well.
