NUSA means island in Indonesian.
Our chef Wayan comes from Nusa Penida, a beautiful island off the coast of Bali. At our beautiful harbourside terrace, you will find an unique atmosphere. A little Bali feeling with an original Bali temple in the Caribbean.

Our concept:
Guests can order a 5, 7 or 9 dishes rice table. There is a choice of 16 delicious, freshly made dishes. We have a number of classics on the menu such as sateh and rendang. Indonesian soups and desserts are also on the menu.

Of course, we also have tasty vegetarian dishes.

Wayan cooks everything fresh in her own kitchen, with an emphasis on healthy and nutritious food. The rich spice mixes give an enormous explosion of flavor in the food. We cook pure nature therefor WITHOUT msg, vetsin or asinomoto (flavor enhancers).

    We had a good experience at their first location downtown last year and we went back for walk-in meal and they were no longer there! We were disappointed, but a quick search on the web we found that they had just moved location, to a waterfront location. Great food, service and location!

    The outdoor seating is delightful, nice view and not too warm. I don't know how it would be when there is no breeze or a strong breeze. The menu is focussed on the 'rijsttafel'. We chose the 5 dish option. My dining partner doesn't eat meat, there were plenty of vegetarian/fish options. I added the duck as an extra dish. Everything looked enticing and was delicious. Just the right amount food. Adding some homemade sambal kicked the spice level up, nice to have a choice. Friendly service, right price/quality ratio, will go back!!

    Très bon rapport qualité prix, pas réellement épicé à l’indienne mais nourriture excellente. Bien situé dans le port.

    We had an amazing dinner at Nusa. Since it is so near the pier we were concerned that it might be touristy but it is not at all. The staff was incredible- efficient and friendly and the food was delicious and plentiful. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Aruba.

    Our group of 4 had a wonderful experience at Nusa's. We had the 5 shared plates and loved trying the different dishes. Every dish was great.

    It is a beautiful waterfront restaurant with mesmerizing views of the Oranjestad Marina and the docked cruise ships. Super friendly staff and real Indonesian cuisine. Less known in the USA, but those of you who love Thai and Chinese should for sure come and try this.

    We enjoyed our experience at Nusa. The staff try really hard to make the experience great. It definitely is an experience and very interactive. We loved the idea of lots of tapas and a big bowl of rice to add to all the dishes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to try but we felt that the flavours and the food itself were disappointing but overall a good experience. Also a beautiful restaurant which made you feel like you were in Indonesia.

    We ordered 7 small plates with rice. Best were beef stew, duck, crispy chicken spring rolls, fish curry, green beans. Very quaint atmosphere. Service was excellent and friendly. I very much recommend.
