The Cave Café offers indoor and outdoor dining. Enjoy the enchanting ambiance of dining inside the cave or outdoor dining overlooking the majestic views of the De Portola Wine Trail. Our friendly, approachable, and extremely informed staff will make your dining and wine tasting experience unforgettable.

Our Cave Café welcomes diners Sunday - Thursday, between 11am to 6pm and Friday - Saturday, between 11am to 8pm. Reservations are not required but highly recommend during the weekends. We can comfortably accommodate parties with up to 8 guests in the restaurant. For larger parties, please feel free to contact us at 951-699-9102.

James is PHENOMENAL at what he does. What a great tour of the winery and the tasting is the best in Temecula. HIGHLY recommend this tour. Food at the restaurant is really good - try the grilled Brussel sprouts, you won’t be disappointed. We will be back - again and again.

Overall experience was a positive one. The seating area was nice but it is a bit uncomfortable with the lamp in the middle making it hard to have a conversation with 4 people at the table. Also with that many plates on the table it limits space for drinks, especially flights. I did order my filet medium but was more medium rare, still good but not the texture I like with a filet that thick. We did like the experience and will return.

This is a great winery. We enjoyed a lite lunch and wine tasting. Isiah (spelling?) is a great waiter. Very attentive and super knowledgeable about the wines and winery.

Food was delicious! I had the burger and my husband had the chilian seabass. We ate out on the patio. It was perfect weather for it. Staff were kind. And food was served really fast. They weren’t too busy though. (Compared to other weekends is what we were told). It was first time here for us. We are already planning a trip back with family in the future.

We did this tour last minute for my husbands birthday and had a great time. We had Judy as our tour guide who was very knowledgeable about the winery and the business itself. But even better she made the experience fun and a memorable one. Lots of laughs and and great wine of course. We’d highly recommend!

They do a good job. Menu is pretty solid although starters could be a bit more diverse e.g., some seafood choices like crab cakes or ceviche. Service is always good. Hard to beat sitting outside on a nice day in Temecula Wine Country enjoying some good food and wine.

The Cave was a delightful dining experience! We were served quickly with wait staff that had extensive knowledge regarding the wines available. The food was also served quickly and hot and was delicious from starter to entree. It was a quiet dining experience, even with other guests also dining and enjoying separate wine tastings. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit at the Cave and plan to dine here again in the future!

We had a fantastic experience with the tour of the cave and the winery itself. Our tour guide James was so nice and friendly and had a terrific personality. The winery itself was delicious and the food was as well. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend this winery!
