Oak is a contemporary steakhouse located in Alexandria, Virginia, from The Indigo Road Hospitality Group. Oak Steakhouse creates a menu showcasing the finest cuts of Certified Angus Beef, along with locally-sourced produce from farms in Virginia and across the nation. Oak Steakhouse is proud to use Certified Angus Beef, renowned for its exceptional quality, with each cut meeting ten exacting standards delivering superior taste and tenderness. Guests can expect a bustling steakhouse experience, with farm-to-table sensibilities, classic cocktails, and a global wine list in a convivial atmosphere. Oak Alexandria features an intimate and inviting dining room, with an open kitchen lined with sleek pewter tile, allowing guests a glimpse of the chefs in action. Rustic reclaimed wood and crimson leather banquettes adorn the space, which seats up to 110 guests in the dining room. A custom-built wine wall displays a selection of Oak's robust wine list which features over 200 bottles. Oak Alexandria also offers an outdoor patio that seats 36, as well as a sophisticated private dining room which is available for up to 30 guests.

The Parkerhouse rolls are other worldly! The service was attentive and perfect. And the steaks were incredible. Can’t wait to go again!

the wait staff was fabulous and went over the top to fix our meal. but it was very salty and not cooked as ordered. but the meat was high quality. there were other patrons who also seemed to have other order issues.

I do not recommend. Noisy. Seated at table facing such bright sunlight in my eyes, I could not see my plate. After commenting to staff, nothing was done to move to another table.

Walked in greeted with a smile quaint small two seat booth! Sean was our waiter Sean stayed on point courteous polite knowledgeable good conversation enjoyable experience food was outstanding petite filet Oscar style Pittsburgh medium cooked to perfection. Outstanding

I’ll begin with the good… the hostess and server were great… both were friendly, accommodating and professional! The drinks were also good… well balanced and tasty. The playlist was OUTSTANDING, and the volume was perfect! The only thing that negatively impacted the ambiance was the temperature… it was like a refrigerator. When the hostess has to suggest opening the front door to make it a bit warmer, you know it’s too cold! Now, the unfortunate… almost all of the food (with the exception of the Mac and cheese) was delivered lukewarm, despite a request for it to be extra-hot in temperature. After the appetizers were delivered at a barely edible temperature, I reminded the server about our request. It appears as though he attempted to honor our request, but the kitchen appears to have failed (hot plates, with warm food). My husband kept saying, “… try serving from the bottom… it’s a little warmer when you do that!” Also, the food lacked flavor. I am NOT a salt lover (and I HATE adding it to find some sort of flavor), but the seasoning was definitely bland at best. Look, with the tip, this meal was more than $600 for four persons. For that amount of money, one does not want (and should not have) to beg for a standard-level meal! While we wanted to lime this place, its a big, “NO” for us! We definitely will NOT return… there are much better high-end dining options that know how to get it right!”

First of all, I want to apologize for your experience with our food. That is the last thing we want and we will exchange a dish for one to your liking if you wish. The one thing we teach our servers is to ask how each course is for our guests. We also like to get the manager involved to make sure your requests are not only heard, but followed through. Did the manager stop by your table? We take great pride in the fact that almost everything we make is done in house.
