Oasis on Straddie - Cocktail bar, Traditional Mexican and Wood-fired Pizza - is a beautifully decorated coastal venue in which friends and family can come together to enjoy vibrant & fresh Mexican Food, Italian Pizzas and Signature Cocktails made with love along with the atmosphere of our gorgeous venue.
We love our community and bringing people together! Wether it's for a celebration or just to catch up over a few drinks. Our vision is that Oasis will become a community hub where people gather and families will make their most loved venue on the island - we even have a cubby house for the kids to play in!

Table for two 7pm 25/02/25, specifically that it was my girlfriend’s birthday. On arrival, we were told there was a screening of a documentary and the kitchen were operating a reduced menu. Instead of à la carte, there was all you can eat for $45pp and waiting staff would bring out a variety of sample dishes from the menu. While this was not what we expected at all, we thought we should give it a go; and given the time, our options for dining elsewhere were probably limited. A waitress brought round what appeared to be brisket quesadillas made from pizza dough. I was then asked to pay for everything up front. This seemed unusual as we had no idea what or how much we would be eating but I complied anyway. We each had a slice of the brisket things and these were reasonably tasty. However, by 7:20 we were offered dessert and we knew something definitely was not right. We declined the offer of dessert, which looked like cannoli, instead asking for a main dish. The documentary began and most other diners had finished eating. Some of the waiting staff sat down at tables next to us and were drinking. We asked one waitress could we please have something to eat. One average-sized pizza arrived and tasted ok. The same waitress returned to clear our table and asked if we wanted chocolate, vanilla, or lemon ice cream now. Sensing dinner service was more or less ended, my partner interjected that $90 between two people for a quesadilla concoction, 1 pizza and ice cream was not very fair. A manager came to our table and blamed us for not knowing the screening was on that night and the special menu would be operating 5:30 - 7:30pm, saying it was advertised everywhere. I showed him the booking confirmation without any reference to the movie and told him at no point we were informed, otherwise we wouldn’t have came to the restaurant. He offered us margaritas but we asked for a refund of $45 which we got and then we promptly left. A major disappointment from start to finish.

We loved the food and the decor and ambiance of oasis, what a treasure of a restaurant, so glad we came for dinner, staff were so friendly,this place would be great for a 21st or wedding function out the back in the beautiful garden.

Cocktails were very expensive and they had no gluten free pizzas which was annoying as it said they did on the menu and our gf person was going to have that. Staff were great as is ambiance. Pizzas were very overpriced Lovely that we could take the dogs

Our food came out at vastly different times, our drinks came out after our food. There was only 4 of us and we ordered one entree that came out after the first main was delivered. It was not a busy night so we were not impressed after spending over $250.
