Ognisko restaurant on Exhibition Road in the heart of South Kensington, is just a stone’s throw away from the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Royal Albert Hall and London Imperial College. Housed in the beautiful Victorian home of Ognisko Polskie club the restaurant is focusing on the cuisines eastern and Central Europe. The bar is open all day serving light dishes as well as mouthwatering desserts. Ognisko’s bar serves a wide range of fruit and spice -infused vodkas, classic cocktails and a small range boutique beers from regional Polish breweries. The restaurant can sit up to 80 guests together with a terrace overlooking communal gardens seating up to 40. There is also a large events space on the first floor available for daytime conferences, weddings and corporate events.

Excellent service, nice ambience and very big portions. The waitress was exceptionally friendly. All was great.

Every time I go to Ognisko I have a wonderful time - the staff are great, and the food consistently excellent. One of the best restaurants in London

Wonderful service and delightful ambiance. An excellent menu which we enjoyed. An order misunderstanding was cleared up with efficiency and great charm, leaving an excellent impression. We will definitely be back.

What an absolute wonderful restaurant from ambience , service , staff and amazing food. It made my friend’s Christmas extra special and they have just been amazed. It will be our extra special place to dine in London for our ladies gatherings! Thank you to all the staff and hope to see you soon. Sheena, Trish, emma and lisa.

The table was perfect, the ambience was super warm and comfy, and the service and food were perfect, I'd love to come back.

Food was quite good, but the service was horrible. Did not feel welcomed at all, rather opposite, I had a feeling that I’m rather interrupting someone. I don’t think I will come back to this place again. Someone has recommended the restaurant, but did not mentioned the atmosphere and the very poor service. 👎🏻

We loved our dinner here at Ognisko! The perogis were amazing and so was the stew that we ordered!

Usually we find no fault with Ognisko but yesterday was disappointing. Yes, we appreciate that it was the last working day before Christmas and therefore completely rammed. However, although the drinks and cloakroom service was perfect ( charming chap) - the lady serving us at dinner was downright miserable. No eye contact, not a hint of a smile… took me back to Poland under communism before customer service became a thing. Resented leaving her any tip , though we did. Food was tepid and lacking flavour which was a first. Sorry, Ognisko- I used to come here as a child with my father and his Army Officer friends so I feel an enormous emotional connection….last night just did not do you justice.
