Overall food was great - loved the pancakes! However we did not love the service - even with a reservation they took a while to get us seated. The servers seemed confused as several of them had asked us if we had been helped. Even more annoying, i had indicated through opentable that i wanted "standard" seating, thinking I was going to be seated indoors - only for them to place me on the patio. What was annoying was in their explanation, they said that "standard" seating to them can mean either indoors or outdoors - but how was I supposed to know that? Logistics aside, the food is great and the servers are friendly, they just need to work on their organization

First impressions are everything and Old School Toronto was all that and more. I don’t know what they put in that caramel sauce in my Biscoff but that was best thing ever! Had the Easy E breakfast and my husband had the Old School burger which was very filling with sweet potato fries, top tier choices. We plan to go for dinner next time. Compliments to the chef and staff xoxo

Get the hot chocolate, there is so much whipped cream, the drink itself is so creamy—one of the best hot chocolates I’ve ever had.

Delicious comfort food! I highly recommend the General Fried Chicken Sandwich and of course their signature Blueberry Pancakes! Also a big thanks to the front of house team for providing a welcoming and pleasant experience. Can’t wait to come back!

Great service, even though it was crazy busy. The servings were plentiful and the menu had lots of interesting options. We’ll be going back to try their weekday value specials which all look attractive.
