A luxury Italian restaurant in the heart of Hornchurch that offers live entertainment from 9pm every Friday and Saturday. We also through the most lively party bottomless brunch on Saturdays 12-4pm.
And it doesn't end here, we serve a finger licking Roast on Sunday.

An extended bar menu that includes a lot of cocktails, mocktails, smoothies and more than 13 signature cocktails. We offer BOGOF (buy one get one free) weekdays 3pm to 6pm on all our Standard cocktails.

We also offer a beautiful selection of brunch dishes on our Set lunch Menu, Tues to Friday 12-4pm
(1 course and one soft drink for £10.99 / 2 courses and 1 soft drink for £13.99/ upgrade options available)

The restaurant benefits from a beautiful outdoor court which is available for dining and also a unique rooftop which is available for large group bookings or private hire.

    We had a booth which worked well for my older parents and gave them a bit more comfort. The staff were all very nice, helpful and attentive. Lamb, squid, oysters and sea bass were all very tasty and the drinks flowed well too with Asahi and Peroni on draft for me. Slightly pricier than my last couple of trips to Hornchurch and similar unnamed restaurants but we were glad we tried Onyx for the first time and we will definitely consider returning.

    Terrible experience! What a waste of a Valentines evening… the restaurant was freezing, we and other dinners had to keep our coats on and they tried to argue that it was only us complaining about it. We waited 1.5hrs for our food and my steak was well done and terrible quality even though I wanted it cooked medium. In the end we cut our losses, sent the food back. The manager was rude throughout. Very disappointed to waste our Valentines evening here, AVOID!!!!

    So lovely to be greeted with smiles and a genuine welcome . All the staff were super friendly and efficient and just really a lovely ambience there . We all enjoyed our food ( generous portions ) they are happy to alter dishes to suit vegan preferences and allergies .( allow a little extra time ) First time there but we will definitely go back again .

    Love love LOVED it in here!! I had the trio roast, which my husband always moans about me getting as they are dreadful in most places, well not here! The BIGGEST plate of amazing food! So much meat! It was just glorious! Our waitress was just lovely and the singer was insane! The cauliflower cheese. My god. Incredible! We had the biscoff cheesecake as well which was just heavenly! We 1000000 percent recommend Onyx!

    Food was amazing. Tasted freshly made. Good size portion not too much so not wasted by family including children. Staff were friendly and liked the fact they had colouring pens and paper available for children. They didn’t mind children playing in the space available near our table. Jay phoned back as I enquired about my lost gold earring which was found by him. Appreciated the honesty. Thank you. My 65th birthday was celebrated by everyone joining with the live singer. Atmosphere was great and positive vibes from the whole evening. Thank you again to staff who served us to the live singer ( sorry forgot your name) 👌🏽🌹👍🏽
