                                                        The Osteria was excellent , luckily I made Reso’s cause it was busy, had a good vibe. The food was really good.

                                                        Our first visit was not as enjoyable as we had hoped. I guess I miss the ambiance of the old osteria. Shared calamari was underwhelming and overpriced. More coating than squid. Bucatini with amatriciana sauce was tasty but came to the table only warm. Good sized and plenty pieces of guanciale. Of the items ordered the pizzas were the best. Great crust. Cappuccinos were only warm but tablemate's was replaced by the waiter. May give it a second chance.

                                                        Very disappointed! Food lacked flavour and under seasoned (calamari, meatballs and pizza). Had higher expectation given its part of Il Centro. The ambience was far from being an Osteria and felt more like a cafeteria. So many great casual Italian dining restaurants nearby so don’t see myself returning anytime soon.

                                                        Very nice lunch. All of our dishes were nicely prepared and tasty. In particular, loved the focaccia, meatballs and gnocchi. Great service as well. Thank you Karolina and Fabrizio.

                                                        The food was amazing! Fresh ingredients and flavors that tickled your senses. We tried a variety of dishes on the menu and it was all above expectation. The pizza was fantastic, pasta brimming with flavor and the calamari was crispy and perfectly fried. I will definitely come back and tell my friends about it. Really looking forward to what they do with the patio come summer time.

                                                        We ordered fried calamari but could not eat it because it was extremely over salted. The pizza was good and the service was good. Overall it was a good experience.

                                                        We didn’t know about this cozy little spot at the Italian Cultural Centre until we received a flyer in the mail. Apparently it’s been here for over 3 months. For years our family has enjoyed La Piazza Dario at the same location for all our special occasions but I can see Osteria al Centro becoming our favourite casual dining destination. The food is excellent and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. While we will always be loyal to Dario’s, Osteria offers much more informal dining and the cost is a fraction of the more formal dining room. We were very pleasantly surprised. Looking forward now to the summer months with the opening of their new outdoor patio!
