Osteria Capri features authentic Italian cuisine with a modern sophisticated touch using only the freshest seasonal ingredients. Enjoy a festive experience in a Bistro-style setting, with hundreds of Italian wines and dozens of original oil paintings decorating the walls.

Open kitchen flair is added enjoyment of the evening as you can watch your dinner being carefully prepared.

We were seated unexpectedly in a semi-private room featuring a display of mostly Italian red wines. It was a bonus. Our server, Anna, was attentive and knowledgable. The entree selections were all quite appealing. Spaghetti Frutti di Mar was exceptional. My family members enjoyed Chilean Sea Bass and Yellow Tail Snapper dishes. We toasted our glasses of Brunello de Montalcino!

Very disappointing. Food was bland. Did not want to make adjustments to the food. When the check came added $10 for using credit card but did not disclose in advance and automatically added 20% tip but left the space for tip as if it was not included. When asked waitress said the “system did it”.

Horrible experience, worst I have had at a restaurant. It was Christmas Day, we arrived 15 minutes before our reservation, no one even acknowledged our existence for 20 minutes. We waited 45 minutes, they gave away our table, no apology. Do not go to this restaurant

Our dinner (yellowtail snapper with lemon wine sauce and pasta) was excellent. Oysters Capri is our favorite restaurant on the island.

Giving this a 4 star overall because I want to be fair and this is a restaurant first & most importantly, the food was very good and most of the dish portions were generous. Our table had the sea bass, chicken parm & zuppa di pesce (this has great flavor but is a bit skimpy for the price & eats more like bouillabaisse) plus a couple apps & salads. Everything tasted great and the chicken parm was probably one of the best I’ve had on island. Our waitress, Anna, was lovely and the service was fine. There were a few off putting issues for us, one most likely not in their control, and that is the fact they do not have a liquor license. We had out of town company and were looking forward to sharing a few drinks and assumed it was the same as their other location on Isle of Capri. Only 1 of our 4 drank wine and the glass was a very pathetic maybe 4oz pour for $16. They offered to make 2 of us aperol spritz but they were just plain bad. Having just returned from 9 weeks in Italy, and as someone who makes them regularly, I can tell you this was not on par. It maybe had a measured shot of aperol in a large glass of ice with club soda only. I couldn’t taste the aperol & I doubt very much there was any Prosecco. It tasted like bad water and we were charged handsomely for one (1 guest just refused it completely). The other issue we had is the chefs complete inflexibility to make any alterations. I personally do understand this to a point as customers can be relentless and obnoxious about making changes. That said, there needs to be some room for simple asks. We had 1 guest who does not eat pasta and just wanted the chicken parm with anything else on the side (veggie, potato…) and were told no. They would not make any changes and we just need to order extra $12 sides. It is good food but I am not sure we will return. The ambience is only so so (a bit too quiet and sterile) and we spent quite a bit of money for the meal and walked away feeling a little let down.

Excellent meals for a group of six. We each had something different including the snapper special, gnocchi, veal Marsala, and carbonara and everything was great. Pasta is homemade and was excellent. This location suffers a bit from not having a full liquor license, but certainly not a showstopper. Servers were very knowledgeable and friendly.
