Chef-driven, artisan Italian nestled in the heart of iconic Larimer Square. Osteria Marco is fine dining quality in a casual setting. We believe in craftsmanship and artistry—pizzas hand tossed to order, pasta hand rolled daily, cheese (like our famous burrata) and salumi crafted on site.     Entrees were bad, closer to terrible especially for the price. Cocktails were even worse, could have had a better cocktail at a dive bar. Service was also bad. The only thing that was good about this experience was the burrata appetizer. The wine was also sub par.

    Our burrata and calamari was excellent as was the spaghetti entree Our 2 pizzas were not good as the crust on the bottom were doughy and not crisp at all Service was outstanding $155 total bill not of value to us Won’t be going back

    We unfortunately were given/assigned a table for two which was located in a passage way and we decided to sit at the bar instead. Not quite what we were hoping for but it was ok. Bar tender Terry was friendly and helpful. We ordered the mussels, a house salad and all were good.

    We have dined at Osteria since it opened in 2007 and always enjoy it. It is our go to spot on Larimer Square. This particular evening, we had the beet salad, which was wonderful (I would like to see a version with golden beets on the menu). I was not impressed with the lasagna. The primary flavor was burnt cheese. I would not order it again since there are so many other great options on the menu. On our last two trips, we felt the food quality had declined. These dinners were both on very busy nights at the restaurant, so I hope that was the cause and not the beginning of a declining trend. Service and ambiance are always excellent Price increases have made Osteria rather pricy for this type of food; however, some of the salads and entrees are big enough portions to split. If you split, then the pricing would be very reasonable.

    Our party received excellent service. The food was delicious. We shared The Chef’s Table for appetizer. All the entrees were very good.

    Fantastic service and entries (the burrata especially) however the pasta wasn’t as advertised, it was good but nothing to go and repeat it. The ingredients were misleading
