Chef Eugenia Hobson and her team prepare authentic Greek dishes served attentively in a breezy Aegean-inspired atmosphere. Our signature dishes include the grilled octopus, the kolokithokeftedes (stuffed zucchini fritters), the lavraki whole fish (branzino) filleted table side, and the arni giouvetsi (lamb shank with orzo). Our selection of nine desserts are all made fresh daily in-house and feature Greek classics such as the baklava and the galaktoboureko. Our wine list is meticulously curated on a seasonal basis by son Philip Hobson selecting from Greece's top vineyards who produce indigenous varietals such as Assyrtiko & Xinomavro, and western grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon & Sauvignon Blanc. Our beer selection focuses on bottled Greek brews while our bar is fully stocked to serve both classic cocktails and signature drinks inspired by the best bars in Athens. Outdoor tables are available in the summer months.

                                                                                                              As usual, the food was great. Service was fairly good. Had to ask about my husband’s entree bc the rest of the party had been served several minutes before. I specifically asked for my soup and salad to be served when his entree came. And although we were seated all the way in the back, the noise level was ridiculous and we could barely hear the others at our table for normal level of conversation. Please see if you can provide some better soundproofing.

                                                                                                              The food here is very good - varied - lots of options for everyone and excellent vegetarian choices. Food is fresh and flavorful and the decor is like being in a Greek villa. My only complaint is that the noise level is off the charts. The acoustics in there are so bad - every conversation is amplified and you have to scream to be heard by your own dinner party. I do not recommend if you are sitting inside and looking for a quiet dining experience. Outside dining is better.

                                                                                                              Wonderful place with great food. Very homey. The only remark I have about the ambiance: the ceiling lights (recessed lights) are too bright and “cold white”. I would prefer them to be dimmed and bulbs more warm color. It would make the place more cozy. Overall excellent experience.

                                                                                                              The food was delicious. The service was OK until the check arrived. When I called to change the reservation from 6 to 8, I was asked if we would need separate checks. I said that we would prefer a few, but it would be less than 8 since there would be one couple and a group of 3. When we placed our order, I mentioned all this to the server. We specifically told him which orders went together for the separate checks. Then we received one check! We called the server back and repeated all this. He returned several minutes later with separate checks that were incorrect. He took them away again and came back several minutes later and they were different but still wrong. The biggest mistake was with the wine. Each of us had one glass. Yet two checks had no wine and the one for the group of 3 had 5. The final set of checks still had one check with no wine. The wine was at different price points and the specifics of that were also repeatedly incorrect. We barely made the show at Signature because this took so long. And one person who paid in cash and was expecting change never received it. She left without pursuing it because we needed to get to Signature.

The service was good considering the dining room was full with reservations. But the downside is the place is loud.

                                                                                                              I have been to Our Mom Eugenia a few times, but this most recent visit was not great. Service was a weak spot this time. After our main courses were served, our server did not come back for about 25 minute or longer. No inquiry about our meals or checking to see if we wanted refills on drinks. It was a busy Friday evening, and I know restaurants get slammed. But those are the moments when you notice great service…. Or the opposite. So if you want to get some good Greek food, give it a try on a quiet night.

                                                                                                              Amazing food as always - extremely well cooked and balanced flavors. Best Greek ever and exceptional food regardless. Went for pre-theatre dinner and had a good experience, but the noise levels are insanely loud when the place gets full so it’s impossible to have a conversation and it’s not relaxing or enjoyable. Need to go when it’s less busy.

                                                                                                              Enjoyed the food. Nice and fresh. They should put ingredients on the Happy Hour menu. Also, the tables right next to the bar were not included in the Happy Hour specials until we asked. We specifically went early to participate, and like many people feel, high bar stools are not very comfortable to sit in. Everything we had was very good.
